Well, your premise is flawed. What guarantee do you have that Iran will not use nuclear weapons? Saddam used poison gas on his own people and the Iranians too. So, there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq - most of which are now most likely in Syria. The actions of Saddam in Iraq are not accusations, but substantiated fact!
Going to war with any country has un-expected consequences, please review your history of the last major wars. Do you think Japan thought they would loose the war when they attack Pearl Harbor. Did Hitler ever consider that invading Russia would lead to the downfall to the Third Reich? World War I was fought, and millions died, because two people were murdered in Sarajevo - do you think the governments, especially Germany, expected the outcome of the conflict at the start? I doubt it.
Your perception of the outcome of a war is most likely very different than the actual results. And what if Iran, since you say they have them, used weapons of mass destruction? What then, a nuclear retaliation?
You should be concerned that a country that supposedly has mass destruction weapons calls for the destruction of another country because of religious beliefs and along the same thought process wants people converted to "their" religion, willing or not.
Carefully consider going to war, outcomes are not always as expected.

Do you seriously want GEORGE BUSH leading our country into another WAR?? Are you freaking kidding me? He's so dumb. In the first place he attacked the wrong country. He had some personal vendetta against Saddam, and thats why we're still over there now. He's too stupid and proud to admit why he really went there. Iraq wasn't the one taking over our planes and flying them into our buildings. There was no real reason to go there and start this crap. Bush asked if there were weapons of mass destruction, he was told there werent. So then he has it searched, there wasn't anything found... Oh, and also he claimed "God" told him to do it... I think he's a little bit mental.
So he's claiming that their country needed to be saved? Are you seriously going to believe this??? There are people in his own country who are starving and dying. There are little kids living on the street. ON THE STREET! In America (the land of great opportunity) There is housing available that was made for the Katrina disaster, those trailers were never even sent down. They're just sitting somewhere, with no one living in them. There are abandoned buildings that could be renevated to help the homeless. There are so many things wrong in this country that could be fixed, but yet, there have been no efforts to try... How could he worry about "saving" another country, when his own country needed to be saved?
Instead, we just charge into someone elses country, take their leader, kill him, and make an even bigger mess out of the whole place. Eventually, the soldiers will leave there, and what will have changed? Not much, and it will still be a mess. A lot of civilians don't want us there, and for the ones that do have hope that we will save them, well... They're going to be pretty let down in the end. Oh, and as for the man who was behind taking terroristic actions on America, Osama Bin Laden, still hasn't been found.
To answer your question, Is America scared of Iran? I don't know that we're scared, maybe intimidated... but for the most part, our President is just an idiot.

once America declared war on Iran, The US is not only faced with one country but almost the entire middle eastern countries that supports Iran's cause and ideology. The US cannot afford to lose the face that no one in the Middle East supports its action except of course for Israel and the kingdom of Saudi Arabia which has an interest of sort financially and military aid from the US for these two countries while the rest of the Middle East will definitely in one way or another lend a helping hand for the Iran government. And this may cause even some old Soviet state now independent who have one way or the other gained help from Iran in the past to come to their rescue this time.
America will definitely not win the war if it decides to take a head on collision against Iran.
Iraq was a different case, everyone moved away from Saddam's government when it was invaded by the US, but Iran is different, everyone owes a debt of gratitude as far back as the late religious icon Ayatollah Khomeini.
Even the late King Fahd owes a debt of gratitude to Khomeini for cutting the reign of the late Shah of Iran which has in the past competed against the King Fahd for the vast majority of oil concessions in the US. Without the removal of the Shah then, Saudi Arabia would not have earned so much dollar as it has now been earning.

Try not to confuse caution and fear.
If the USA was not afraid of the old USSR with its arsenal of 10 000+ NUCLEAR weapons, they are certainly not going to be afraid of a country that will soon have ONE.
The last time America was actually afraid of another country was Germany and Japan. This fear only motivated the US and as we all know it ended not well for the objects of American fear.
The worst thing that Iran can do to itself is make itself a target by becoming scarey to the US.
For the same reason, Islamic terror groups could never truly get any traction. American military responce has actually been restrained up until now.
If they ever decided not to worry about collateral damage, it would go really poorly for those individuals down range.

No i dont think scared but heres the difference. We invaded (INVADED) a country that pretty much was weak and to begin with and we cant even handle that we have been there a long time and things are worse not better. Iran on the other hand CAN defend themselves and us being as stretched thin as we are right now and with basically 0 moral we would be destroyed. Maybe pull back and raise moral.....get more supplies and build our military back up. But theres no real reason to invade iran anyways. I was disgusted at the way Their president was treated here the ignorance and lack of respect for someone i was in such shock.

The word to use here is 'nuclear deterrence' The Iranians know that America will not attack them if they have nuclear weapons. Whether that's true or not, time will tell. But it sure looks that way for now.
I read in some blog Iraq's weapons were hidden away in Syria by the time the Americans came in.

There wouldn't be anything fair about it! The US would destroy Iran.
Look we wiped out the Iraqi Army in what 2 weeks?? Iran & Iraq faught to a stand still.
People tend to forget about Airplanes & The Navy. We could bomb Iran for Months on end and never have to send in 1 ground troop. The only chance they would have is if they got some help from some other country!

Yes because Americans have been taught to be afraid of Iran.
The media has painted Iran as an aggressive nation (even though they have no history of ever being the aggressor in a conflict) that wants to develop nuclear weapons to nuke the USA.
The media propaganda machine has also made us Americans fear anyone faithful to Islam. So, with Iran being an Islamic Republic...

So, is your point that we should attack Iran? Or should not? Or do you think you're the only one that realizes this? Is this even a question?
Look, it's not a matter of fear. It's a question of whether or not the problem will go away if we ignore it.
What do you think?
