How long does someone have to stay in the navy to get a great income,(4,000+) a month. Im thinking of making navy my permenant career after high school. What do you guys feel about it? any tips on what job i should pick if i score well on the afqt.?how long should i study for the afqt?9,8,5,3 months? i graduate high school in june of 2008. so that gives me about 9 months. is that enough time to score a high score?

Do you think it was wrong for Former President Jimmy Carter to give Okinawa back to Japan?

Considering the number of U.S.Marines that died in combat to take the Island after Japan dragged us into WW2, Doesn't it seem like he was disrespecting the U.S.Marines when he did this? Sort of like going to Marine Corps base Camp Lejeune or Camp Pendleton and flipping us the bird.

why should they get away with not answering questions about their religious beliefs, such as mccain, romney, and giuliani. they all say that their beliefs are personal to them and their family and not the business of the voters.

Why do whites keep saying illegal is not a race?

All the illegals coming from Mexico are native Americans from Mexico or further south. There are also mestizos that are illegals . That is why some are light brown to dark brown or red. I think we can call this kind of people a race.

If I am appealing a denied Unemployment claim, how can I know what my former employer claimed about me?

I just found out that I was denied an Unemployment Insurance claim and will be appealing the decision. After reading the U/I laws, it says in Section 1327 that my former employer has to submit a written response as to why I don't deserve my benefits. In order to better write my appeal, I need to know what was written about me, and what they are claiming I did. Do I have the right to get this information, and how do I do so?

What facts were we unaware of that led us to re-elect GWB in 2004?

I ask this because I just read a couple of answers that say that if people knew more about the candidates then we wouldn't be stuck with Bush for these last 4 years.
