I'd like to get more involved in this upcoming election. But of course, I don't want to base my opinions off what I hear on mainstream media. What are some good websites? Anything else you would recommend? I will read into both sides, Republican and Democrat.

Each individual has their own opinion on what is a strong political website.

With me being Libertarian, I'll tell you some libertarian websites that I like to visit. Most are radio style websites that I listen too:
www.freetalklive.com is my favorite one even if they show a strong negative view on the police.
www.freetarian.com: is another radio style website created by Sean Morely who is known as Val Venus in the WWE, he's a very principled libertarian.

www.reason.com and "Reason Magazine."

That's just a few I can think of for now.

I like this because it does not favor democrats or republicans, I will say that it is conservative, but truthful and that is all I want is the truth, that is how I base my votes.
