My exboyfriend who spit on me is calling and saying he wants to "settle" the criminal assault charge with me out of court by paying me money to "drop the charges."

The lady in the prosecutor's office says he can't do that.

He says in our state, there is a rule that says you can make the victim whole by paying them money.

I don't want his money.

Is it legal for him to call and say he would pay me money to drop the charge??

I am not taking him up on it but saved the messages he said this on.

I acknowledge that Global Warming is a reality. The ambient temperature is rising here on Earth.

I also acknowledge that the Earth has gone through warming and cooling cycles throughout it’s past.

I recognize that other planets’ surface temperature have increased as well which can be attributed to increased sun heat/radiation.

I am still not convinced that human activity is to blame for the majority of Global Warming but, I do believe we should do what is within reason to reduce our pollution regardless. However, we should not do so at the cost of our safety (i.e. lighter more dangerous vehicles) nor should we compromise our nation’s ability to produce energy.

I firmly believe that we should aggressively pursue alternative fuel sources and I accept the factual statistical data which establishes the fact that nuclear power is clean and safe.

THEY have their protestors TAZERED, but the ACLU and other liberals want enemy combatant terrorists AND illegals treated with respect and kid gloves. Why is that?

My next door neighbors 30-something year old son just came out of jail on parole and is living with them. I am very concered about the elementary school that is only a block away. I have already filed a travel voucher for per diem/haz. fire/etc..., and have been paid for that, but when will my family separation pay come in? I turned in the paperwork for that at the same time as my travel voucher. Does this money come on a payday instead? It has been two weeks since I filed for it.
