Illegal is not a "race" anymore than German or Irish or Jamaican or Russian or Mexican is a race.
Your race if I understand it correctly is done concerning your skull and bone structure....not the shade of your skin. Even if I spoke Spanish, died my hair and tanned real dark......it wouldn't make me a Mexican. Michael Jackson may or may not have a skin pigment disorder or had his skin lightened and even went through extensive surgery but he's not causation. Like it or not.....brown people are not a race. They are either causation or some have tendencies towards the black race because of racial blending but they are not a "race". Some "brown" people are of the asian race. Bottom line is skin color isn't the indication of what a persons "race" is. Neither is what country they come from.

To those (sometimes) well-meaning but confused people who insist that immigration is a racial issue, we always ask: "Well, then, since you are absolutely certain one's position on immigration is all about race, what are your racial reasons for supporting this current flood?"
This question often causes confusion.
We believe that the confusion arises from our nation's unfortunate muddle-headedness on issues of race and culture. The current dogma of the "multicultural" ideology has convinced many Americans that "culture" and "race" are the same things. Just think of the endless paeans to multiculturalism in advertising, political speech, academia, etc.: they are always illustrated by a photo of people of different races.
This is dangerous and wrong.
While a black American and a white American might be different colors, they are equally American, i.e., they share the same culture.
Modern "multiculturalists" are the true racists when they elevate skin color to a place as primary as culture.
If we have racial problems today, how will our problems improve with a half billion people struggling to survive in an overpopulated country? Shouldn't we first resolve the racial problems we have instead of continuing with an immigration policy that will double our population and risk exacerbating an already increasing tendency in our country toward group identity politics?
Those who fear racial conflict or the rise of fascism should support, as we do, an immigration time-out in order to take a breather, reassess what we are doing, and give the assimilation magic time to work.
Legal immigration at lower levels is desirable; immigration at current high levels is undesirable;
All reasonable means to curtail illegal immigration must be pursued vigorously;
Corrective action must be applied by Congress and other 'elites', and;
Abuse toward immigrants and illegal aliens is unwarranted and regressive.
Given the above principles, advocating immigration enforcement and reduction is: not racist; not anti-immigrant; and not anti-immigration.
To talk about changing immigration numbers is to say nothing against the individual immigrants in this country. Rather, it is about deciding how many foreign citizens living in their own countries right now should be allowed to immigrate in the future. America's traditional kindly feelings toward immigrants must no longer stifle public discussion about the enforcement of immigration laws. Stop trying to manipulate us. It will no longer work.

Illegal is a politically correct term, not a race. Illegals can be anyone from any country that is here illegally. They don't have to sneak over the border to be illegal, they can overstay their visas also. A majority are indeed brown skinned, but it is definitely not a race. Mexican is not a race either, it is a person from Mexico. Just like American is not a race, it's a person from the US.

It is because we don't dislike people of light to dark brown races. We are against illegal immigrants as being above quota and expensive to underfunded programs, regardless of their color. It is the above legal quota issue that is the problem, not whatever race they are. That they may mostly be of a certain ethnicity doesn't make opposition to the cost and burden on our systems a matter of racism.

Quite simply, because it's NOT a race. Illegal means you've broken the law. I should think even a supporter of illegal alien CRIMINALS should be able to understand that. Illegals can be brown, black, white, red, mullato, or any other race. They can come from Canada, Mexico, Ireland, or any other nation. An ILLEGAL ALIEN is someone who has entered into our country illegally and needs to be treated as the CRIMINAL that they are. It does not matter what their race is.
Don't act like this is a race issue either. Most of us are descended from immigrants of various races, and many HISPANIC people who have descended from LEGAL immigrants are angry with the illegal alien CRIMINALS who are trying to jump ahead in line.
So yes... Illegal is NOT a race. It's not just "whites" that say it.

Illegals come in all shapes and colors, from all different cultures and religions. The issue should not be color or culture, religion or country; but if you have the legal and valid paperwork

A "moron" is not a race either, but if it were you'd be their leader.
ILLEGAL is a status, not a race. Mexican is not even a race, it is called "Hispanic" Besides, there is only one race, the HUMAN race.
Now, go back to your own country.

Not everyone is privy to the same experience you have-
I am afraid no one is interested in changing the definition of a word so that it serves your purpose.
You're just not that important.
