Congress and Senate both should serve but one term for four years and go back home and get a job. And they can't stay and lobby. And federal judges get one 6 year appointment.

The Bush administration seemd to think two weeks was simply too long, that Israel would be off the face of the planet by then. In retrospect, that seems ludicrous.

So why not wait two weeks to let the U.N. file its report?
Why, if I was cynical, I might think Bush was worried the report wouldn't give him the answer he wanted to hear.

Ok I'm done skirting around this issue for fear of my question being deleted or offending someone and getting a violation. So here's the scoop..Take it or leave it.

Our government in either party doesn't want to solve this issue either by "amnesty" or "deporting". If they seriously did YOU wouldn't have stopped amnesty.YOU wouldn't stop deportations. It's all up to them in the end.The bill that failed was suppose to fail.It had things added they knew people on the other sides wouldn't agree with. It's called cheap labor and laugh at us the citizens and laugh at the illegal immigrants who are all taking heat for our governments(both) GREED.The NAU is coming so unless you want borders erased and our liberties taken wake up.Maybe it's time we pulled together instead of apart on this issue and realize just what they're doing here and stop it before it's too late.Or they'll just continue the comedy and laugh at how gullible we are.

So...Do you think we're being played for fools?
I do

There are many new veterans that served in Iraq coming back and actively protesting against the war and marching in front of the white house. As a veteran myself who doesnt agree with the way the war was started or handled and served twice in Iraq, I dont see myself protesting like they do, but i do voice my opinion. I think they are wrong, for making a mockery out of themselves and claming they speak for the whole military, when in my opinion most of those people are "dirtbags" problem people in the military with paperwork. Do you think its fine for them to do what they are doing?

Isn't it the republicans that concern themselves with the lives/conduct of gay people? So if the republicans are concerned with gay peoples private conduct, then why are gay republicans private conduct off limits?

"In another development today, Craig's attorney told the Senate Ethics Committee in a letter that the case should be closed without sanction against Craig. In an interview, Stanley Brand said that the committee generally does not reprimand senators for misdemeanors or sanction them for behavior that does not involve their official conduct."

I signed a contract for a lease on a new vehicle Jan 4th, 2006. Unforeseen events have since occurred and I am now trying to get out of my lease. I took a look at my contract provided by my dealership and noticed all the dates were wrong. It says that I signed the contract Jan 4th 2005. It says this on my warranty too. The documents are signed by myself, a co-signer, and the business manager of the dealership. I am not sure how this date slipped past all of us. Can I exploit this and somehow get out of my lease? What are my options? A response would be greatly appreciated, as I do not have a very knowledgeable background in contract law. Thanks.

Check this out, posted by the times:

A senior judge has called for the entire population and anyone visiting Britain to have their DNA placed on a national database.

Lord Justice Sedley says a nation-wide bank of DNA profiles would help to tackle crime and correct an imbal-ance in profiles stored by police.

Basically, DNA is something no one can argue with, your phone has GPRS cababilities as it is, your phone calls and texts are kept for 4 years for "anti terrorism" laws.

Perhaps i see the world in a different light, but if every man woman and child has a DNA record then that is the coffin on any society i am prepared to live in. I would rather be dead and this is no joke. I already feel like a clone as it is, i get CCTV'd. Your life could be mapped just from your physical environment...

If my privacy will be that erroded, ill murder whoever made that final choice and be a patriot for freedom.

Would anyone be by my side or do you read this and not see a issue?

Currently on unsupervised probation judge said he would let me off if all my fines were paid in full, I applyed for a credit card in someones name and was charged with a felony was still on probation. The person who name I used didn't want to take of work to press charges so the investigator pressed the charges. He said that since she didn't want to take off that day to press charges he was kinda over it and he was going to help me out are at least try to see what he can do. He talked to the judge and the judge said for me to pay my fines from my previous charge and he would see about still aloowing me to go into the military. SO MY QUESTION CAN WE ALL GET TOGETHER AND SETUP A PLEA FOR ME TO STILL BE ABLE TO GO TO THE MILITARY ARE WILL I NEED A LAWYER IF I NEED A LAWYER I WILL GET MY OWN NOT ONE APPOINTED

The story is my husband and I were gone camping when we got a call from my 18 year old that our van was on fire. We left everything at the camp site and headed home only to find the van in our drive burn to the ground, windows broken the paint bubbled and the shutters melted on our home. The detective just called saying they have 4 suspects 3 adult boy and one juvenile. One of the parents said that they would like to pay us for all the damages that we already turned into our insurance company for us to not file charges.
What does everyone think we should do. Nothing like this has ever happen to us before and we are at a total loss.
Thanks for helping

A B-52 bomber was mistakenly armed with six nuclear warheads and flown for more than three hours across several states last week, prompting an Air Force investigation and the firing of one commander, Pentagon officials said Wednesday.
The incident was so serious that President Bush and Defense Secretary Robert Gates were quickly informed and Gates has asked for daily briefings on the Air Force probe, said Defense Department press secretary Geoff Morrell. He said, "At no time was the public in danger."
