You will NOT automatically become a Norwegian citizen, and it will take time.

If you marry, or want to marry a Norwegian man, you must still apply for a residence permit - from your home country. Unfortunately, the handling of these permits can be rather slow, it may take almost a year. Before you get the permit, you cab stay three months as a tourist. Sorry, it is not as easy as one should wish.

Your man must prove that he is able to support you, and he must be able with his own income. They may also check that your marriage in not pro forma. If you are pregnant with his child, things are faster and easier.

You will get residence permit for one year, and have to apply every year. After three years stay you can apply for a permanent residence permit if you are still married. After 7 years you can apply for Norwegian citizenship. But stay away from crime!

If you have a permit to stay in Norway for at least 6 months or you have a working permit in Norway will have the same rights to medical treatment as any Norwegian.

Yes, as soon as you marry you will be allowed to remain in Norway, and you should probably get a work permit after about three months. After 6 months you should get medical benefits.

Best of luck and congrats!

You heard thoroughly incorrect. If something it particularly is far less complicated to get such visas for many eu worldwide places than the U. S.. In eire working example, that isn't any longer even unlawful to marry in specific to get a eco-friendly card.
