OK, truth_seeker is a liar and always has been. The democrats DID say to invade and take out Saddam and get the WMDs.

We are nearing the day when we will hit Iran . Most people understand that or at least begrudgingly acknowledge that . But what everyone is missing is that we will also likely hit Syria , probably simultaneously with Iran . Why ? No why would any country arbitrarily deploy their #1 Brigade to the middle of nowhere for no apparent reason ? -- WMD's maybe ? Well , yes , unless any of you have a better explanation .

That may well be, but that doesn't excuse the fact it was the present administration that pushed for war and refused all diplomatic solutions. There's no doubt in my mind Clinton would have wanted to see the Blix report. Plus, his quote says "When I left office..." he never said "I know he has them now".
Pelosi says "Chemical and biological", not "mass destruction", and she didn't tout the image of a mushroom cloud. The allegations (clearly misleading) of the Bush administration was that Saddam posed an imminent threat to the U.S. public at home. Something neither Pelosi, nor Clinton said in those out-of-context quotes.
Plus, Bush certainly knew there were NO such weapons in Iraq, since they would have made a land invasion completely unthinkable.

Nancy Pelosi voted against the Iraq War Resolution in 2002. We knew Iraq had WMDs at one time because the Reagan administration gave them to him. The issue in 2003 was whether he still had them and whether Iraq posed a threat.

The UN inspectors begged for more time to finish their search for WMDs, which they weren’t finding, but were forced to leave Iraq because Bush wanted to invade.

He quite clearly possessed and used chemical weapons such as mustard gas, this FACT is evidenced by hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqi Kurds and Shiites that fell victim to his chemical weapons. Regardless of political party and any interpretation of politicians statements the FACT is he was known to have possessed and used them in the 80's and 90's, what happened to them is any ones GUESS.

The US supplied WMDs must have all been used in the US/USSR backed Iran/Iraq war.

Saddam must have used all the weapons given to him by President Reagan on the Iranians and his own people.

We gave him the weapons, that is why everyone was so sure he had them.
