And for every rifle or shotgun handed in, one gets a brand new electric bicycle? How's that to avoid a repetition of crazy shootings and crimes by young gun owners? Just a wild idea to explore ways to save more innocent lives being snuffed out by crazy weapon owners. An idea that may well encourage tourism and bring peace of mind to the citizens/locals. What are your concerned thoughts on these?

Is she trying to artifically create a "need" for socialize medicine by preventing the doctor and the patient to be in charge of health care?

Hillary Clinton voted against providing seniors with a prescription drug benefit.
She voted against allowing people to save tax free for their out-of-pocket medical expenses.
She voted against medical liability reform so that docs are not forced out of practice by junk lawsuits.
She opposes leveling the playing field so that people who pay for health insurance out of their own pocket get the same tax break the big corporations get for providing health care benefits to their employees.
She’s against allowing people to shop for health insurance across state lines like we do with auto insurance so the consumers would have more choices and there’d be competition to get your business, give you more for less.
and now she’s voting for penalizing seniors who have those private health care plans through Medicare.

... because environmentalists refused to let it be used in limited ways?

Was it a mistake for Liberals to allow tens of millions to die because they wouldn't support limited usage of DDT to fight malaria?

Thank God the World Health Organization finally realized how many people were dying because of environmentalists being too rigid.

"... the World Health Organization last year recommended the use of DDT in places like Africa where malaria is still common, saying the benefits outweighed the risks."

I have a UK work visa and have been travelling in and through London several times. On two of these times, my visa was stamped in London, which usually happens when going in or through many airports. However, someone mentioned that the stamp is a type of visitor visa, and that at law, any new visa cancels previous visas.

I can only think that the airport staff didn't know or see that I had the work visa.

Is my work visa still valid or as it been cancelled by the visitor stamp?

Recently a school-mate came to me for advice. He'd been feeling depressed for a while, and was talking about suicide.

I tried convince him he didn't really deserve to live and that he should shoot himself. Which he didn't.

Instead he jumped off the 10th story of his apartment building.

Hahaha... no seriously... anyway...

Can I get sued or anything for convincing some-one to commit suicide?

I quit my last job because my boss called me stupid. Being called stupid is the very least of the crap i put up with during my two years at that work place.
From what I hear.. he continues to do the same to employees that work there now, amongst some other irate obscenities towards his employess.

I live in California and I know that hands down its a case for Harrasment, and he CAN get a case pinned to him for that.
Being that im a former employee, is there anything i can do to make sure this Employer stops his torment?
Has anyone been through a situation like this with their employers and what are some steps i can do to make sure HE GOES DOWN?

Obviously, this is good for drug companies (more "problems", more profits). Because of their influence in gov't and medicine, are they steering us into a culture of drug dependency and lifelong users( AKA customers)?
