If you don't take charge, someone else WILL.
Islamic terrorists would like to be in charge NOW.
Would that satisfy you?
It isn't fanatical to want to control and protect your family and your society.
Trying to force your ideals on others IS.
You noted such instances already. They are minor compared to what our nation now faces from TRUE fanatics that would use their own children as bombs to kill Innocent women and children.
Your question is a good one but I'd like to add perspective. Fanaticism is WRONG regardless of the source, just like the tyranny is wrong regardless of the political ideals behind it.
Thank GOD our founding fathers gave us the freedom so few are willing to understand and defend.

They're not in general. You must be more specific or we do not know what you are talking about. I'll try and explain, 1: Slavery was/is wrong 2: Was/ is still a problem 3: see#2 4: Self protection 5: He loves all people 6:people have good and bad opinions about everything. Peace
