One question comes immediately to mind:

Did you enter this lottery?

Also, another item that should raise eyebrows is the use of the word "bonnafied". There is no such word in the English language. I think the author means "bona fide" here. Also, perhaps this is a cultural difference (I am an American), but I notice that a reference is made to "June, 2007". In English language usage, one will not usually find a comma between a month and a year. (i.e., "June 2007" rather than "June, 2007)

Look up the number to the police headquarters in the phone book (don't use the numbers given in the letter). Call and ask to speak to Insp. Mike Bowen. If he doesn't exist, then you know it's a scam. If he does exist, ask him for more details. Did you even buy a lottery ticket? If not, why did you win?

I get 2 or 3 of these letters everyday. I write them back using phoney phone numbers so they will have to pay for LD call for nothing. Then if they write again telling me of the wrong number, I say, sorry HERE is the correct one. (again phoney)
