After reading about laws trying to be passed around the country it seems to me that the majority of these laws are being made by people ignorant to the videogaming culture. Videogames are not only played by teenagers anymore. Im 26, married and in the military with my first child on the way too. I work fulltime and own a house. Pretty much the average american but i play videogames as well. This stereotype that we have in america hasnt changed since the advent of videogames about the average "gamer". If im a 15,16 year old boy would anyone care if im watching most R rated action movies? So why should they care if im playing an R rated videogame. As real as videgames have become, movies are still more realistic. Videogames get the "M" rating just like TV shows, so is CSI wrong for the same 15,16 year old boy to watch? If you make laws for one shouldnt they make laws for them all? Make a law banning videogames, ban movies and TV too. Isnt it all relative?
