Citizens of the old Soviet Union could only vote for one party. How sad, that so many Americans think they can only vote for two parties. And of course many Americans do not allow themselves any more choice than a citizen of the old Soviet Union had. Our government allows us to vote for any name on the ballot. This choosing of the lesser of two evils is why we have so much corruption. If we want true patriots of integrity, we must stop supporting the career politicians of the Democratic and Republican parties.
I know the media is not going to entertain us with anyone who is not a Democrat or a Republican but we can think for ourselves. Really, it doesn't hurt that much.

Republican.

I would have to say Biden of all the Democrats. He is the realist of the group, and seems to genuinely believe he is there to better the nation. Don't get me wrong...it is not that I think he has no personal ambitions, nor is it that I agree with him on much...I just simply trust him more than the others to do what he thinks is right and good for the country, while the others will do what is right for themselves politically.

He is also the singular Democrat to have a plan for the things he champions. He makes the most sense of the Dem's.

I have to disagree on Obama, I like him least of the Dems (although I find Richardson the worst of the lot as to being President of the United States....worse than Bush in communication skills and intellect).

I am an independent. I was a democrat, but I was so embarassed at how they handled some situations so I decided to change. However, I am more pro-democrat than republican. So, I will tell you my favorite republican.
I would say Mitt Romney. Don't laugh at me now. Just hear me out. I am not a Mormon, and I don't agree with their doctrine. However, he is a man of faith. Actually, I have met a lot of mormons in my life, and they are all dedicated to God. I don't think he would push his beliefs on us as a society, but I think his belief in God would allow him to be a good president. I also think he is the only republican who would not start another war or want to continue this war in Iraq. I think we would see many changes from him concerning this war. Those changes, I believe, would involve getting our men and women home sooner. Also, I don't judge a book by it's cover, but doesn't he just look like a president? Or is it just me?
Well, I will put my 2 cents in for democrat anyway. I do think Obama would be the best. He is very educated, and he seems to have a sound plan of action on how he would be as president. I think he is the strongest of the bunch as far as dems are concerned.

Your suited some Democrats and a few Republican Christianist prefer to restrict weapons all jointly yet their circulate does not get a procedures. After 911 and almost 8 years now of corrupt human beings in our government the gun ban concern has dwindled.

I dont really care for either party, but since I'm supporting a Democrat, I'll pretend for a minute that I am one.

Ron Paul would be the one I most admire from the Republicans. I dont really care for any of the others.

Since I consider both the Republicans and the Democrats to be "opposition" parties relative to my views...

For the Republicans, it's Guiliani -- he is the least directly corrupt and at least freely admits his own flaws.

For the Democrats, I would have to go with Biden -- he has the most logical arguments to support his positions, and is consistent in the way he approaches problems

For the most part, my choice among the Republicans would be McCain or Tommy Thompson. Since both seem to be on the way out, I would also mention Mike Huckabee.

While all are more conservative than I would like, I think all are honorable people who have shown themselves to be as pragmatic as they are conservative. I think each of the three, while beginning from a conservative perspective, would be willing to negotiate in good faith with liberals to get good ideas into operation as opposed to trying to bully legislation through on a partisan basis as the current Administration has done.

Ron Paul
He wants us out of Iraq and he wants us to stop doing similar bad things all over the world. It's clear that Heritage Foundation and American Enterprise Institute don't tell him what to think or how to vote.

Guiliani. He's weak on the issues though, but he's entertaining to watch. I don't like any of the others. I think Huckabee would be a good VP choice but I don't think he could win the nomination for president.

Hillary however is going to win. Wouldn't a Guiliani vs Clinton match-up be exciting again. Of course he baled on the NY senate race but who knows...............
