stands for "IN CASE OF EMERGENCY"' put these initials in your cell phone with a contact number. If you have more than one contact put I.C.E. 1, 2, & 3. If anything should happen, contacts will be immediate. Will you do this??

Yes-I already have it. Its very helpful to do this because emergency responders may need to get medical information on you as soon as possible. Your ICE number should be a family member or husband/wife that knows something about your health. The emergency responders can act much more quickly if they know what you are allergic to or if you have any pre-existing medical problems.
If you dont have a cell phone, wear a wrist band or a necklace that may have the important information on it in case you are unconscious and cannot communicate any health problems.
I think its a great idea and everyone should do it! Its simple and free!

I once miss-placed my phone and a police officer located it. He had no trouble figuring out the number listed as "Dad Mom" was a likely contact. Anyone that can't figure that out is unlikely to know what ICE means.

No, I won't do this -- because nobody is going to be using my phone but me -- but if you think people will look in your phone for an ICE contact, then go right ahead. It's up to you.
