We have a neighbor who has a driveway that can fit two of his cars in it plus one on the street in front of their house... but he has 3 cars, plus his gf's and his mom's that live their.. well, he has recently been taking up MY parking spot that I have to park in often, plus another one on the road outside of our house.. So he has all of his parking taken up plus all of our street parking taken up.. One of his cars parked in front of our house has a tire taken off and the other doesn't ever go anywhere.. So do we have the right to call the police? Or is it public parking basically?

I have seen many cases in which an underage girl uses a fake id to get into a night club and appears to look over 18 due to the way she dress and how she looks like.
She meets a guy in the club then when they both go to his place she makes the move on him and gets sex not teling him her real age then when the guy does it he is looking at jail time and having to register as a sex offender.
In cases such as this I believe that an acquittal is justice because the victim put herself in that situation by not giving her real age out.
Am I making a good point?

I will make this short and simple.

I hate having a lawyer because I have to pay her so much for all the work she does. She is a legitimate bloodsucker. I think there is a way for me to get the guardianship over my husband much easier than having her know what's going on in my life.

Yes, my husband is fully incapacitated. I have been using a lawyer for the past decade to get a guardianship, but paying this leech is taking its toll on me. How am I, as a homemaker, supposed to get a guardianship over my husband - on my own - without having to hire this stupid bi*** (excuse my language)?

I responded to a question today where I told of my support for the Global War on Terrorism. I mentioned that I am a U.S. Soldier. The person who asked the question then added this,

"To Voice of Liberty--I hope and pray something happens to you while you "defend" our country and you get discharged at the convenience of the military."

This person was asking the question as an expression of his Liberal beliefs. Why is it that I never see Conservatives say evil, hurtful things such as this guy did? Especially to someone who is willing to fight for and die for HIS freedoms.

I live in a townhouse with 8 units. We pay a quarterly association fee and among other things, it cover garbage removal. There is a dumpster behind the garages for all the units to use. When I came home tonight there was a car with a lady I did not recognize and four little kids right next to the dumpster. Her back seat was full of garbage bags. I pulled up to her and yelled, "Do you live here?" She claimed her grandmother lived here and she just threw in one bag. I do not believe it, and I am wondering if I should have gotten her license plate number and called police. The dumpster we have is not huge, and it fills rather quickly at times, and I am wondering how often this is happening and what I can do about it. I figure, if I have to pay for the service, so should she. Any suggestions?

Did we really fund iraq with money, weapons, and biological agents to aid Saddam against Iran. And when that failed we took out Saddam and invaded only to secure a permanent position in the mideast...since Saudi Arabia wouldn't tolerate our military presence in their borders. Is this true...and now we are pouring our funds into defense...taking funds from needed american families...all for the benefit of large corporations. Soon our own infrastructure will implode...our nation will be no different then pakistan or afghanistan...or any of the many 3rd world nations. How long will this take...how long before Americans wake up. We are doing a great dis-service to the world and even greater a dis-service to ourselves by not standing up to the unchecked forces in our society. We are bleeding ourselves dry...so that the spirit of capitalism may flourish in a different, more "Worldly" state.

I've been sued for $4500 in my previous home state of CA. I'm living overseas now. Does the court have jurisdiction over me? Is general jurisdiction based on residence while the cause of action occurred or on current residence? Will they serve me all the way here for that little money? I'm prepared to file a motion to demurr or to quash based on improper service and/or lack of personal jurisdiction.

You would think that something that important would warrant more discussion. I hate the president and congress for their disdain of my rights AND not taking their jobs seriously. Oh well, such is life.

maine and nebraska do now. presidential candidates may split those states' electoral votes by district, instead of the 'winner take all' approach found in the other 48 states...

north carolina is considering it for 2008; one argument in favor being that it will make candidates more likely to campaign here if there's a better chance to pick up SOME, if not all, electoral votes.

good idea? bad idea? how about states moving up their primaries to become more significant players in the races? too much tinkering?

Absolutely. There is no remote chance of him winning a presidential election.

Basically, I just wanted to express the annoyance of his supporters which live on the internet, fill up message boards with the same useless crap, and inflate any online poll by voting over and over. It's funny to see Paul leading in various polls online but is running at 2% nationally on a good day.
