Isn't it a bit ironic? Weren't we taught that two wrongs don't make a right?

Hey,
What do you suppose a sealed bottle of aquafina with a fly in it is worth? I hear the chances are pretty slim of this happening, as in 1 in a billion or something.

But I have one, and its really gross.
So glad I didnt open and drink it.

Any lawyers think I can claim damages in civil court?

Are you happier being fed a line of bulls--t instead of hearing hard truths?

Many Republicans will tell you they won't raise taxes.....but they do G H W Bush "No new Taxes".

Many Democrats will tell you they won't sell out to corporate lobbies ....but we know they ALL do.

How can we really make them accountable?

this happened to my gf after she got sick and missed two days of work which were the only two days she missed during her two months of employment. a manager contacted all her references to ask questions about her character and dependability. She didnt even get notified that her references were notified, her references told her about the calls. Are employers allowed to contact your references whenever they please?

They will often repeat the lie that France, Germany, Russia etc. all claimed Iraq had WMD before the war.

They did not. They wanted inspections and if those inspections found no WMD, they wanted sanctions against Iraq lifted.

How much better the world would be now, if they had prevailed and Bush had not gotten his war.

This statement or motto indirectly means that there is no middle ground or neutrality.

It also implies that if anyone does not fully support whatever "our side" is doing then they are no longer "with us".

If anyone critisizes "our side" then they are no longer "with us".

"Our side" can commit war crimes or crimes against humanity but we cannot find fault in them because that would be aiding the "enemy".

This is the exact mentality Christians had during the rise and rule of HITLER.

went shooting with a couple of buddies. apparently their was a no trespassing sign..we shot plates for a little bit until a bunch of cops showed up...they cited us for trespassing, gave us a court date and impounded my guns(that are all legally purchased)..they said I might get them back after my court date.I have never commited a previous crime..this is petty. I spent thousands on these guns. will I get them back?

Let's say that two individuals were to lie to the police about something that had happened between them, and they were to go back and say that what had happened really never happened at all, what would happen to them? Would charges be dropped? The individuals were not clearly thinking when the police had questioned them and did not know they would get in trouble, would going back and saying that it had actually never happened work, or would the case which is pending continue forward? Facts people, don't want what you think, just what you know. Hypotheically speaking ofcourse.

My attorney has failed to return calls or emails about details of my cases well thursday will make it 3 weeks.
When we last spoke, he said he would need to call me back, but did give a very brief synopsis and said we had a settlement offer from one of the suits. That was three weeks ago, and I dont know how long he had been sitting on the offer before that.
There was a call five weeks ago on a Monday, he said he needed to call back, I tried an email, didnt hear anything via phone or email, then two weeks later called him, this is when he gave me the mini update and now here we are three weeks after that and I still have no communication.
So what would one consider a reasonable amount of time? What should my next step be? I am thinking something like if I dont hear from you within 48 hours I wiell seek new counsel, but I do not know how that works now that we were past the statute of limitation for filing the claims?

Any advice (prefer someone in the legal profession). Thanks
