Since so many americans want that and so many members of Congress want him to, what's the downside??
Can't Bush do at least something that appeases the people sometimes? Can he at least throw the people a bone every once in while?

I know your post is a lie. Its not a tiny fraction of americans. geez just look at the postings in this thread alone. How many people took your position. Your statement is part of whats wrong with this country....how you can make such a false factual statement like its the god's truth....when its actually an outright lie.
By the way, how many americans wanted Libby pardoned?? as he virtually was?

Excellent, Excellent question. It's OK to pardon lying to the Grand Jury Scooter Libby, but not two hard working US Border Guards. Why? Because they can't personally testify before the US Congress about impeachable offences commited by the Bush administration. Therefore they fall into the catagory of" the rest of the Amercans"

True they aren't saints and I agree they received to harsh of a sentence.
But in answer to your question, are these two friends with the VP? Did they work in the White House?? Do they personally know the President? No?
There's are the reasons they haven't been pardoned.

The reason he doesn't is because he is appeasing the Mexican government.
He's agreed to showing them that they will be an equal participant in the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America.....which WILL lead to the eventual North American Union!

No--Bush can't (politically, anyway).
Only a tiny minority of Americans want Ramos and campeon pardoned. These two are simply cowardly brutes who shot a man in the back. They are no better than the white bigots who used to lynch black people in the dead of night--hate-filled criminals, and that's all there is to it.

these guys are no "saints". They lied on their reports and concealed evidence. They committed crimes. They might have received a harsh sentence, but they are NO boy scouts.
