Yes, it's the mindset of radicals and extremists....
Sadly -- not all radicals and extremists are outside the US.

That Leninist formula (with us or against us) ignores the many complexities that make up most global dilemmas.
It also cocoons the nation inside a bubble of pathological self righteousness about themselves and their cause leading them to believe that they are morally superior to their enemies and are therefore justified in committing immoral acts. Terrorists think this way and so do we. Although it is a huge misnomer to say that Christians believed this during the rise and rule of hitler.

That depends on how you use it.
I'm no Christian, in fact, I'm Muslim, but your statement about Christians during the rise of Hitler is a blanket generalization and unfair. That involved all types of people. Not to mention there were many Christians helping Jews and condemning Hitler.

Nobody has said that for five years. You're resurrecting some old dead rhetoric that was appropriate within the context of the day. What most disturbs me about your comment is that you equate Nazis with Christians. What kind of crazy messed-up stuff are you filling your head with? It was Christians in Nazi Germany that sheltered Jews from the Holocaust, Christians that stormed Omaha Beach at Normandy, Christians who liberated the concentration camps, so what's your problem with Christians?
For all of you who think you can always find middle ground, explain to me the middle ground with Hitler!, Stalin!, Pol Pot, Vlad the Impaler, Son of Sam, Jack the Ripper, Saddam Hussein, Ahmadinejad
You guys have been told to hate Bush so you do. How about this... think for yourself.

I agree with you 100%...where is freedom of speech? Where is the right to be different and voice your opinion or just be neutral if people don't want to take sides? Being different doesn't mean you are against someone, it means you think differently.
