Come on conservatives, admit it she makes you guys look bad by being such a freak. Liberals have to make excuses for Michael Moore. The most creative excuse for Typhoid Annie gets best answer, and if you can throw in a gratuitous Michael Moore slam you get extra points.

How bout instead of a presdent and congress , we all vote on every issue instead of voting on the people that make the decisions? everyone would vote how ever often it needed to be for all the issues . we would vote every year on how the budget would be , we would vote to change or modify healthcare , education etc. if there was a foreign threat we would all vote if it is a prudent threat. who needs leaders , were supposely voteing people based on what we want to see happen why not cut out the middle men and just legislate ourselves?

In 1935 when social security was set up, the average life expectancy was 61.7, and SS benefit was paid to those who retired at age 65. Shouldn't we either raise the retirement age to 81.2 (3.3 years past current life expectancy), or drop the net benefit? Or should we allow the federal government experience the same horrific, and departmentally crippling effects that have already been experienced by small American city's from the same paradigm with relation to their police and fire departments?

Lastly, in 1935 the first canned beer was produced, is it logical for me to levy a suit against Anheiser Busch because the can of Bud Light I just drank did not keep me drunk 20.7% longer than it would have made my great grand father?

The mother of the child doesn't want anything to do with the father of the child. She files a restraining order against the father while she is pregnant. Can the father still file for custody of the child even with the restraining order against him? If so, what if there is a restraining order against him from the baby?

It seems really indifferent now days when people feel they are patriotic and are in support of a war that turned into more of a police action after the capture of Hussein but will not volunteer to join the service. At the same time many also enjoy the privileges secured by past veterans and at times criticize or look down on the men and women that served their country. Pat Tillman became a hero to me overnight when I heard he turned down a lucrative professional contract to serve the country that gave him opportunities in professional sports. Many men, years ago, gave up their sports careers to fight for this incredible country of ours. Not many like Ted Williams anymore.

It seems fairly obvious to me that democrats are, on average, smarter than republicans based on which states have the highest test scores (SAT, IQ, etc.) and which parties those states tend to vote for. However, I'm having difficulty finding hard data on this subject. Can someone please help me locate some evidence, even if it disproves me?

BTW: A good place to check out would be census.gov

Are your premiums are too high, coverage too low, or you simply cannot afford healthcare insurance and have no coverage at all..

Do your elected officials have healthcare insurance? Of course they do.

After all you voted for them to not only get more paid vacation days per year, work less days; not have worries about homelessness, hunger, gas prices, food prices, unemployment or unemployment wages, bancruptcy, gas prices, welfare, retirement or health care insurance. In short you have voted in favor of them living better than you.

Why should you be left out?
Here is a start towards a solutuion. Now you too can be on your way to better healthcare coverage.

Is it true that during the Vietnam War, draftees and enlistees were allowed to volunteer for SF training?Back then, what did Special Forces training consisted of? apart from the basic training, airborne training and the robin sage course? I heard that such recruits were considered to be "SF babies'', since only airborne qualified NCOs and officers were allowed to try out for Special Forces training. In which year was this policy implemented, during 1968 or as far back as 1965?

I'm 18. I play high stakes poker competitevely at various casinos downtown in my city thats home to 1 million people, so its a pretty big city.

There's no safety deposit boxes at these casinos, so I'm forced to carry cash, usually 800 bucks in hundreds when I'm going, and on a really big win, usually 2 000 coming home. I take public transit. I have enough money to get a car but don't have the time to learn how to drive or take the test cause I go to school full time and play poker full time.

Should I carry some type of weapon as protection?

I usually feel safe, and have always been liberal and for gun control, as I grew up in a different city with more gang violence and hated hearing about crime and gangs in my city. Recently on my way home, I saw several crackheads, prostitutes, and 2 guys beating up another guy. I no longer feel safe with all that money on my person.

If you would sugeest getting a weapon, what would you suggest?

Thanks in advance.

I wonder why politicians don't seek people like Mahammad Ali, Kareem Abdul-Jabar and Ahmad Rashad to help show Americans that not all people of this religious background intend to bring their ideas to the world with violence and terroristic type activities. Many people stereotype others that they dont know personally or havent seen in American pop culture. But if some of the well known people of the Islamic Faith would try to teach and inform America to who they are and what their Faith is based on maybe some people that have been ignorant to what the Islamic faith is all about.

The Bush administation wants to do this under the rationale it will help keep Iran under control. But.....
1) Saudi Arabia hasn't been praticularly helpful in the Middle East for the U.S. yet.
2) Many of the "insurgents" that combat U.S. troops are from Saudi Arabia.
3) Saudi Arabia is an enemy to Israel (which of course is an ally to the U.S.)
4) 15 of the 19 hijackers on 9/11 were from Saudi Arabia.
5) There's good reason to believe that this sale could set off an arms race in the Middle East. Thus making the region even more unstable for American interests.
6) There have always been suspicions about the Bush family's ties with the Saudis.
Can you give any more good reasons why selling so much military equipment to Saudi Arabia is justified ? Or perhaps you would like to argue some of my points against the sale ? Do you have any thoughts at all that you would like to add to this discussion ?
