They can pull you over if you are doing something illegal BUT they must get the cops from the jurisdiction you are in to charge you or give you a ticket.

In Iowa, a law enforcement officer can make a stop and arrest anywhere in the state. They generally won't stop someone or make an arrest outside their "jurisdiction" but they can. If they do make an arrest outside of their area, the first call they are making is to the top law enforcement official in that area, and the second is to their own boss.

It depends on the state.
Here in Missouri, no. The Missouri Supreme Court has ruled that there is nothing constitutionally wrong with that. But nothing in the state constitution or state statues allows it. So it can't be done until the state congress passes laws on the issue.
In states officers can pull you over anywhere in the state as long as they charge you in state court.
Sometimes the law gives an officer something like one mile out their jurisdiction.
It all depends on the state laws.

yes they can, I have seen a Nevada peace officer pull someone in California and arrest them. Years ago I recieved a speeding ticket In nevada from a california cop when I was only speeding in Nevada. The people who say that it cannot happen are only fooling them selves. About 3 weeks ago i watched the Nevada Cops arrest someone in California, they did commet the crime in Nevada, and they have to go to a California jail before they can be exterdited back to Nevada.

Sure can. Police are on duty 24/7. They need to call an officer from that jurisdiction to make an arrest.

yes ---a cop is a cop is a cop
if he witnesses illegal behavior he can pull you over at any time at any place (even like in a bar etc) and site you or arrest you...depending on local jurisdiction - he may have to call for the LOCAL reinforements to actually take you away...but his authority is as good as GOD.
why---did you do something bad?
