People on here and all over the USA say that Liberals hate America?

But tell me what is it that they are supposed to hate.

Is it the current administration
The form of government
The landscape
The people
Or all of the above.

What I am trying to understand from an outsiders perspective is what conservatives use the phrase hate america in relation to?

This bill was first introduced in 2005, then referred to House subcommittee. Well, on May 9th, it was signed.

The National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive, signed on May 9, 2007 declares that in the event of a “catastrophic event”, George W. Bush can become what is best described as "a dictator":

"The President shall lead the activities of the Federal Government for ensuring constitutional government."

This directive, completely unnoticed by the media, and given no scrutiny by Congress, literally gives the White House unprecedented dictatorial power over the government and the country, bypassing the US Congress and obliterating the separation of powers. The directive also placed the Secretary of Homeland Security in charge of domestic “security”.

I mean seriously...I know this AF guy with a big sticker that read "one shot, one kill" on his truck, he is a secertary...never been deployed and if he was wouldn't see anything different then his desk other then being in a different uniform.

Or how about the police force...come on...what is it 5 weeks training and now your a trained mall guard. Yet htese guys really think they could hold there own against others...lame.

No hard feelings against them but serouly they should know there place, they support the branches who are risking their life, can't do it without the AF but like I said they need to calm down. Besides that, they are at least a step above the Coast Guard...

Consolidating duplicative programs will save money and improve government service. In addition to those programs that should be eliminated completely, Congress should consolidate the following sets of programs:

40 separate employment and training programs;

A new scientific study concludes that changes in the Sun's output cannot be causing modern-day climate change. It shows that for the last 20 years, the Sun's output has declined, yet temperatures on Earth have risen. It also shows that modern temperatures are not determined by the Sun's effect on cosmic rays, as has been claimed. I'm interested in hearing ways that we can help the environment in light of this evidence. Anyone have any suggestions?

Look at the 1800's. People suffering starving and dying of preventable illnesses even though they labored all day. This is because in modern moneys' terms they made 1.25 an hour. Do you realize that conservatives (oh, the good old days!) including former senator Rick Santorum want to economically bring us back to that time? If it wasn't for the democrats, the corporations would have the same iron fist low wage control they had back then and countless Americans would be unnecessarily suffering. Democrats aren't communist, that is conservative propaganda from billionaires who have the money to spread around their lies. They stand for a balance between capitalism and fairness for people who weren't born into the top 10% of America. Look at the Clinton years when we had a SURPLUS our economy was growing and we as Americans were uniting to make our country and world a better place.

Most Americans wanted that in 2000 as well (Al Gore won the popular vote)

My elderly parents did a gift deed that stipulated a lifetime estate on their farmland. They did this so they would qualify for medicaid. Can a gift deed that was filed at the courthouse be rescinded or taken away if they change their mind? My mother passed away and I think my father wants to give it to his new wife. So, once the deed was filed at the courthouse it is a done deal and he can't reclaim it and give it away to someone else? They did a gift deed to me and now I think he wants to cancel it and give it to his new wife.
