I don't judge anyone or their lifestyle. If a person wishes to profit from their own then why not? All I could think of was that the government wouldn't be able to tax it. I would like to know the solid reason behind why prostitution was made illegal. Prostitution has been around since the beginning of time along with sexually transmitted diseases( which I don't understant why this even comes up in the prostitution argument). So why? Why limit someone's life? Pornography is legal... probably because the government is seeing some of the profits. If the government wishes to end prostitution then the first step is to end pornagraphy(again which I have nothing against). It leads to prostitution. A person sees this and that it's a way to profit very well then they will start the first place they can.. clubs, the streets, their own backyard, etc. I'm just looking for a solid reason that's all. All information is welcome!

My daughter unfortunately fell in love with what we thought was a nice young man. They became engaged, then the real monster came out. Kept track of every second of her time. Made false accusations of cheating, would not let her see old friends, even females. Then the beating started. He smacked her around because he found a matchbook on the floor. We went to police and fled a report. He threatened her and she lied and said it never happened. He beats her up again on her birthday and rapes her. She gets a PFA. He breaks into the house and beats her again. To the hospital by ambulance this time. Concussion, impaired vision and broken tooth. Yesterday he tried to run her off the road. Wha are the police waiting for!!!!!!! They pick him p and release him no bail. Are they waiting for him to kill her? What do we have to do to get some action?

we owe hundreds of thousands in medical bills, and my wifes condition is terminal. the nerves in her stomach were cut, and she had to have it removed. we won our lawsuit, but my insurance provider took our settlement leaving us to fend for ourselves. I agree that they should not have had to pay for this doctors mistake, but I should not have had to pay either. They took our rights away, and it is not right what they did to my family. I will never recover from the hole that they put me in. this could happen to any of you. what do you think of this situation.

I know there are long lists of people who need organs & they are ranked by need. If you were next but someone was worse off than you, then they would get it before you. You, the patient, then end up paying a ridiculous amount of money to those who did your surgery and the hospital. I think it's wrong for a health professional to charge such a steep price for such surgeries when they get the organs for free from organ donors, dead or alive. I think that the donor or their next of kin should see a good amount of money for their donated organs OR the surgeons should SERIOUSLY cut back what they are charging their sick patients. It's just wrong for them to hugely profit out of the situation. I am a donor because I chose to be. You shouldn't have to pay for what I choose to give freely. Surgeons make millions a year off of this. *shrug* that's my opinion. What do you think? Information is welcome.

If I am your co-worker and observed you being discriminated or harassed; maybe the boss has a tendency of rubbing your butt and while you don't like it, you tolerate it because you need your job. Sounds familiar? Well it seems that if I observe this, that I am eligible to file a complaint of discrimination as well, where I could ask for some form of compensation, which may include the firing of the violater or even cash.

I got a speeding ticket in may and i went to court to request defensive driving but the form has my driver's license number wrong (a 7 instead of a 2). on the ticket itself, i took a closer look and indeed the 2 looks like a 7. the officer took down my info from my license. i already requested to take the defensive driving. War established us as a global super power. War gave us influence over the entire world. War brought us out of the Great Depression. The threat of war eliminated the Soviet threat of communism. You say war is bad? I say war gives us focus, makes us stronger, and gives this country a common goal. I have been watching both Democrat and Republican parties debates and runner ups, and I am really not very impressed with all the candidates except for one, and thats Senator Hilary Clinton. She above all has stood her ground, able to answer every question thoroughly, and she has already been in the White House so she knows how it works. I really don't like her either because she is so extreme, but Edwards and Obama are not doing a very good job in their current position as being the next candidates for the presidential debates. I feel that Obama and Edwards really need to do their homework if they are going to battle it out with Hilary Clinton, cause she knows her stuff and she is a strong speaker.

This is getting out of control, I cannot believe how far this has gotten, I have been in this country since I was 3 years old, all I know is America, I dont even have a social security card! I am illegal! This is insane, I cant even get a job like this, I am not conceided but I am confident that I am capable of getting a great job since I am so good in accounting, college is even hard to get into 190 per unit vs. 20 per unit for someone who is legal is not fair! I cant even speak spanish correctly, it is not fair, I need a social security card so I can get a decent job and help support myself, Im not here to steal, kill or commit crimes, all I want is to work, and make myself a better person as well as this country, HELP! What can I do, I really donot want to marry I am too young, you'd be surprised, I am 19, this is crazy!

My neighbor is also my landlord. We have caught him hooking his hose up to our water spicket to water his garden and give his dog a bath. Our electric bill has tripled because of this. I'm scared to confront him because im afraid he will evict us. I just found out that he did this to the last tenant, and then evicted them when they confronted him. Of course, if i knew about this early, we would have never moved here. We can afford to move someone else right now. But the police arent doing anything because he is really good friends with the police.
