I got a speeding ticket in may and i went to court to request defensive driving but the form has my driver's license number wrong (a 7 instead of a 2). on the ticket itself, i took a closer look and indeed the 2 looks like a 7. the officer took down my info from my license. i already requested to take the defensive driving. WHAT'S THE WORSE THAT CAN HAPPEN?!

When you take the course, just mention the error, and it will be corrected.

The 2 looking like a 7 could just be the result of sloppy handwriting. It will not get you out of the ticket or the defensive driving course.

A minor clerical error such as what you describe can be corrected easily. The happen so often the court clerk can probably fix them in their sleep. You should probably contact the clerk to make sure you get credit for taking the defensive driving class.

See "One Sexy Jeep Girl"'s answer. Although I liked the "prison for 28 years" answer. And it's true, it should be worst. And that's all I have to say about that.
