Why do we Britons publically announce our hatred for Blair and Bush, You don't really see the American side of things and what i have seen they have praised Bush for sending men to there men to war.

I have had first hand of a friend dying in Iraq so i do feel the way i do about the two clowns he was sent over and was e-mailing ppl saying he couldnt wait to get home to be married and see his 2 year old daughter and died when he was blown up near a play ground. What was the reason for this war?And what interests me is what do the Americans think of them and it?

Thanx just wondered if anybody felt the same?

NOTE: I am not saying that all conservatives do this, just that many do. Some great examples of this are Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, and Sean Hannity. And, of course, all of the people who support them.

Being stationed in Iraq, Medics are being tasked out to various details and missions. One such mission is to stand guard at a gate. Does that not completely void what a medic is for? Is that not an offensive posture? As far as I was aware, Medics are not to be placed in situations where they are the aggressors as they are not specifically trained for that. Any help with this dilemma would be greatly appreciated and if you could give me some references, I would love to read them. Thank you

Geesh , who in their right mind thinks that calling the war on terror a 'bumper sticker' slogan is gonna garner large support from the American voter ?
And then to buddy-up with Danny 'I Love Chavez' Glover. . . . .just what the hell was he thinking ?
Notice how I worded this . I didn't ask you if you agreed with Edwards , I asked if he , or his advisors , think that positions like that would garner large support from the American voter .

It's clear that the American people don't respect Hillary because she couldn't even win a battle against a fat, college girl for her man's affections, so why does she continue to delude herself?

And now he has decided to give up his parental rights so we in the future can not get him for child support. Which we dont care cause we dont want his money. but anyways he doesnt know how to do it and neither do we so does anyone know what is the first step he or we have to do so he can give up his parental right over to us.

I had my child custody finalized in Indiana prior to marrying/moving to Hawaii to be with my Army husband. We're getting ready to move to our next final destination which is back to the mainland. Does anyone know if in the courts of Indiana, you are required to file an intent to move with every move? Also, can a change of jurisdiction be requested once we reach our final destination since it's outside of Indiana? This involves a young child so there will be years of potential updates required and neither the father nor I reside in Indiana.

I think 21 is a little drastic. One can go to Iraq to fight for the US, vote on the leader of our country, smoke, chew tobacco, and hire a prostitute, but they can't have a beer? What do you think the drinking age should be? At what age do you think people should start going to alcohol related parties?

I'm a LT (SWO) in the IRR. I'm guessing I would just contact my detailer, but I was wondering how long the process takes. Also, would I still be eligible for the SWO bonus coming in from the IRR? I resigned my commission. I was selected for DH school before I left, however, I didn't attend. I got out when I was due to cycle to my shore tour. I don't know if this throws another monkey wrench in, but I'm actually a Surface Nuke. I did read a message online, which makes it appear it can take up to 6 weeks…longer if you're trying to come back into anything other than your original designator.

I recently asked a question about what people thought were the top 5 Presidents of the 20th Century. Several answered including Carter in their list. Why?

As President, I know of only 1 accomplishment, that being the Camp David accords. In every other way, he was a miserable failure as President. Domestically under Carter, we had double digit inflation, high unemployment, high gas prices and gas shortages due to wage and price controls, a weak economy, and a general malaise as it was called then, that America's best days were behind her. He made the decision not to process spent nuclear fuel, resulting in thousands of tons of extra waste.

Internationally, Carter abandoned the Shah of Iran, resulting in the mullahs taking over and holding our embassy people hostage for hundreds of days. The reverberations continue to this day.

After his presidency he has a great record as a statesman and humanitarian, but his Presidency was the worst.

"Only 35 percent of the military members polled... [in 2006] said they approve of the way President Bush is handling the war, while 42 percent said they disapproved. The president’s approval rating among the military is only slightly higher than for the population as a whole." - Army Times Dec 29, 2006
