Why do we Britons publically announce our hatred for Blair and Bush, You don't really see the American side of things and what i have seen they have praised Bush for sending men to there men to war.

I have had first hand of a friend dying in Iraq so i do feel the way i do about the two clowns he was sent over and was e-mailing ppl saying he couldnt wait to get home to be married and see his 2 year old daughter and died when he was blown up near a play ground. What was the reason for this war?And what interests me is what do the Americans think of them and it?

Thanx just wondered if anybody felt the same?

I am not saying that when ppl joined the Army they dont expect the worse. Thats there job to protect our country. And sadam was a horrible man and deserved to de executed and taken off the planet but now hes gone what is happening to get Iraq sorted. All i see is more and more soldiers dying and for what? And for those ppl who sent abuse your bang out of order think you would feel the same if it was someone close to you who had died for nothing because nothing is being done to get it resolved and get our men home.

Ithink Tony Blair should look at the state of our country than messing around in another.

No. I like Bush. I think Blair above everyone else, has handled himself professionally.

Have you ever thought that these Heads of State have access to critical information that they cannot share with the rest of us?

You guys are lucky you have had a leader like Blair as long as you have.

The answer is pretty obvious. The American people do not like Bush. His approval ratings are the lowest ever. I think that Nixon even had higher approval ratings after Watergate. Everywhere Bush goes he is protested.

However, I think that there isn't a great public outcry because of the war. People do not want to seem unpatriotic while our military is fighting over in Iraq.

Myself, I have no problem with Blair. He did not start this war. Although it has not been a popular war, he backed his ally.

I normally vote Republican, but think that Bush is a clown, I cannot stand to even look at Cheney and Rumsfeld was so arrogant I couln't stand him, either.

In a weird way i always like Blair, i found him a noble ally. Is he all nefarious and stuff cause us in the US don't keep up with the Blair scandal, our own prez makes enough scandal and then some. I feel our administration is dangerous and no longer serves the people but rather seeks to enslave it. America seems to be going through a dark time but to be honest i thought it was merry ol England over there. More people are seeing Bush for what he is and we tire of the war and the lies and the fear. Not sure what will happen with it all but sorry to hear you may be going through the same.

It's true that Bush's rating is way down in this country but Blair is actually highly respected here. He is a gifted, articulate leader. You were fortunate to have him at the helm as long as you did. It's easy to criticize them both but nobody points out how much safer we are now. Yes, we are. If we let up on this war on terrorism they will have won. They will have free reign. At least when civilized nations fight each other they have rules they follow. Not so with terrorists. Someone has to stand up to them and, praise God, Bush & Blair had the balls to do it. History will look kindly on them both.

If Blair had had the round objects to say, no, Dubya, we're not going to stick our friendly poles into THAT hornet's nest so that your investment in Halliburton will appreciate 500%, and if he had had the presence of mind to lobby the Commonwealth, past and present, to think instead of saying 'yassa massa' to Dubya, the world might have avoided this clusterglump.

When That Day comes, I believe that Dubya will be in the fire and Blair will be getting toasted just outside of it. They're both going to Hell, though Blair will be in a slightly cooler neighborhood than Bush. Rumscroft and Condeesleezarosa will actually be the fire itself, while I suspect that Powell will be serving as a footstool in the ninth circle.

So bottom line, Blair should go to hell. He'll have lots of company. But roasting is what he has earned.

Bush & Blair: The Iraq Fantasy

Indignation Grows in U.S. Over British Prewar Documents
Reports in the British press this month based on documents indicating that President Bush and Prime Minister Tony Blair had conditionally agreed by July 2002 to invade Iraq appear to have blown over quickly in Britain.

But in the United States, where the reports at first received scant attention, there has been growing indignation among critics of the Bush White House, who say the documents help prove that the leaders made a secret decision to oust Iraqi President Saddam Hussein nearly a year before launching their attack, shaped intelligence to that aim and never seriously intended to avert the war through diplomacy.

We have our own issues here. If we kept our borders safe and made sure we knew who was coming into our country we wouldn't have to go to someone else's country in order to keep them out. I feel also that for the amount of money and time wasted on this war we have gotten no farther then we were when we had started it. Our money and resources are in vain. I believe this is just the Bush tradition. His daddy liked the red button and so does he. Like father like son I always say. Though in this aspect our future husbands, brothers, fathers outcomes look very bleak. God Bless Our Troops. May God Bring Them Home Safely!!

Well not many americans praise Bush for this war, in fact quite the opposite. I don't hate Blair because he actually has a brain from what I have seen watching the Parlimant Sessions. However Bush has no brain and lives in moron land. I think Blair made a big mistake believing in Bush and will always hate himself for doing so. We don't want the war and don't want anything to do with Bush anymore.

dumb is blair, and dumber is bush. you just can;t convince bush, that what he is doing is wrong.and can;t be won.blair on the other hand is kind of playing it safe. he did;nt send to many brits, to fight in iraq. but however, he did let bush talk him into getting involved in this stupid war in iraq.as a result it cost him his job. so bumb, and dumber, go hand in hand. what a mess they both made.

Can't speak on Blair. But for Bush you won't find a worse President in our nation's history. Dumber is too kind for Dubya.

I think it is good to see that there are still a FEW, who have the backbone to stand up to the threats that now confront us as nations. The churchills are gone. As you your friend, I am sorry, however, In the states we know before we join the service the risks that we could encounter. That is a choice we make. I would say your friend thought it worth the price, If the world does not learn to stand up to the radical Islamest, what are you folks willing to give up to please them? How far are you willing to give in to their attacks on YOUR life.
