I can decide for him not to have visitations with his father?

I am convinced American democracy has failed. WE have sunk so low that all that matters to many is liberal/conservative, democrat/republican, etc. We no longer take them time to listen to what anyone else has got to say, we just determine whether they are of the same political affliation, and if they aren't then we automatically disagree with them. Read this and you will see what I mean:

Is it time for a dictator so we don't have to deal with this or is there any other way we can remove this blatant stupidity for our political system?

This question is not directed against any political affliation, so please do not bash.

I want to throw a VERY LOUD birthday party for my Husband on Friday night, and I want our attorney to be present in case the Newport Beach police department shows up at the party in order to break it up. This way he can let them know that the city would be facing a very costly lawsuit if there is any inconvenience to my guests.

Assuming that my lawyer is an invited guest at this party, how much should we pay him per hour as insurance against the breakup of the shindig?

I just keep reading these incredibly stupidly worded questions coming from the loopy left and every one of them contains an insult. Libs don't want honest discourse because they can't defend their positions and they have to resort to this incredibly childish practise of hurling insults as a result of their own disbelief in what's coming out of their mouths. Have any of them even passed the third grade in mentality? I seriously doubt that. I just love it when one of those moonbats calls the President of this Country one of their stupid family names like chimp. it gives you advanced notice that you're dealing with someone whose IQ is lower than room temperature in the Supermarket meat aisle.

He wants to know what you have to do in training, always wanted to know what it is like? He wants to go to downtown San Diego, where we live near, and say hello to all the Navy, and Marines we see. He wants to say thank you to you. I think, being an adult, we might look silly, and stupid, but I'll do it if he wants to. What say you? He wanted to ask, so I typed it for him.
Laugh at us, if you want, but my son want's what he wants, and he loves you. As do I.

*I'm not sure if these prices are exactly right, but that's not totally relevant to my question anyways... *

*Also, just to make it clear, I am straight, but I am very much for equality of all people, regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, etc...*

Here's the question:

My school is currently selling prom tickets, at $20 dollars each. Or, a couple ticket is available for $30.

However, our school principal is only issuing these coupke tickets to male-female couples. He refuses to sell them to gay or lesbian couples, meaning that they must pay $40 for 2 separate tickets.

I was just wondering if he is legally allowed to do this, seeing as it's discrimination...

There is a petition going around school to stop this, but other than that, is there anything else we can do?

In modern history US has consistently vilified nations and as a result has been building up it's military. The people benefiting from this is the military industrial complex. If there is no enemy, then there is no reason to hand out billions of dollars from our taxes to these companies and their CEO's. United States military spending is 42% of the total of the rest of the worlds spending. China a distant #2 is only 6%, Russia the biggest scare of them all that we were made to believe were comming here to get us also only 6%.

State and local education officials, citing safety concerns and potential financial penalties for schools, urged students Sunday to shun this week's May Day immigration reform marches and stay in class.

The Tuesday demonstrations include a downtown Los Angeles rally that local transportation and law enforcement officials anticipate could draw as many as 500,000 participants. Although that would be smaller than the roughly 650,000 who showed up at last year's May Day march, it would be the area's biggest immigration rally this year. And it threatens traffic tie-ups that have prompted officials to urge the public to avoid downtown.

State Supt. of Public Instruction Jack O'Connell, who appeared at a news conference with Los Angeles schools Supt. David Brewer and other local officials, said it was more important for students to be in class than to demonstrate. He urged educators to consider the day "a teachable moment" to address immigration and related issues.

Legally speaking, if you're pulled over and the officer suspects you for DUI are you required by law to consent to a field sobriety test? It's my understanding that they are not legally enforceable (meaning that just b/c the cops want you to do one you can tell them no). I understand that, at least in AZ, you have to consent to a breathalyzer or lose your license for 1 year. But what about those goofy FSTs? Aren't they just coordination games that will only lead to a cops probable cause? And if you refuse to take a FST is there any repercussion?
