Two words: caste system.
Bush got elected moreover by the rich and campaign support by the rich, then has constantly given tax breaks to the rich, then given America the right to invade Iraq based on the ideal of making them more like us IE "richer"...

So isn't it painfully predictable he favors the rich's safety over that of people who he sends to Iraq (often looking for things like college scholarships they can't afford otherwise).

The reason why? It makes the rich, such as him, look more innocent (in addition to being consistent with his past favoritism of the rich).

Throughout history presidents have started wars to hide their problems handling the economy saying "it's all the fault of the war" rather than taking responsibility. BUSH NEEDS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY, NOT TRICK AND PUNISH THE POOR.

Because the capitalist system of America is out of control

Capitalism is a good idea if there are check to it

In the US there isn't

Therefore people are not equal at all - They are defined by a price tag of economic worth and have no other qualities beyond that like being a human or having rights etc

They should either starve quietly and not disturb the decent folk or they can be used as expendable goods in a corporate campaign for the wealthy

One way or the other wealthy people own the poor people and feel they should be able to use them in some fashion

For instance killing or dieing
