That's when it started. Shock and Awe was launched that night. I remember because that's by birthday and I watched the fireworks fly.
I think we started into the country sometime in late Feb. 2003.

The war started during 2001 when George Bush demanded that Iraq stop the production and use of alleged Weapons of Mass Destruction. The actual troops came into Iraq on March 20, 2003 starting 'Operation :Iraqi Freedom"
