All I know is that I live in a very good part of town and would have no problem getting what ever I wanted in about 15-20 minutes. Now if I can in a good part of town I have to imagine that it gets even easier the closer you get to those proverbial tracks. So what has the government done but spend $20,000,000,000? $20 billion a year and everyone can still get what ever they want, sound someone is winning.

I am concerned over the second ammendment right to bare arms. Please argue in a logical format the reasons for or against firearms. This website is a petition to prevent a further invasion of rights...the first assault weapon ban is nothing compared to this one...You won't be able to purchase any kind of guns except for bolt action rifles, six shooters, and severly restricted shotguns...some other weapons also like hand guns or rifles that don't have the ability to accept magazines over ten rounds and shotguns over five shells etc.

I'm looking for sources stating what is and isn't legal concerning body kits, lights, under car neons, spoilers, light bars on top (hazard/police), and things of that nature. I live in everett, wa so local laws only, thanks. Also, ride height laws, db laws for systems and exhaust, and what makes a car street legal on not performance-wise.

Today I was pulled over for running a stop sign. The cop said that I had run 2 stop sign's and I was over the speed limit.

It was a 1 lane road and I was following a Uhaul type van infront of me. He didnt stop and i was looking at him and didnt see the signs , i didnt even kknow till i was pulled over.

Anyhow the officer was nice and just gave me a ticket for running 1 sign and a *warning* for speeding (30 in a 25) he did write the warning and the speed in the ticket.

I am young and my insurance rates will spike with the point.I was wondering if i do go to court and explain my case and offer to pay the ticket if they will remove the moving violation for me.

I plagiarized on a report in school. It is my first offense, and I was never in any type of other trouble while in college. What will they take into consideration? What should I say in my defense? What strategies should I use to defend myself?

Here is the situation in the question I posted yesterday:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AnZFw1vTyzgLrePxWy8Sq83sy6IX?qid=20070403175328AAgfkza

You will need to read that before understanding what this new question is about.

Okay, so we had a lot of support. People sported the slogan "Freedom of Religion". The thing is, those of us who did (most of us anyway), got in trouble. I however did not get caught so I do not know what the consequences were. I know that some people were sent to the office for wearing the slogan and got in trouble... all we were doing was supporting a slogan for a peaceful protest. we had no vulgar words or profanity on our clothing or notebooks or whatever. we were just innocently wearing the slogan.
therefore, was it right for the school to punish those who wore the slogan "Freedom of Religion"?

This really is turning out to be a HUGE issue at my school.

Tell me sweet little lies
If I could turn the page
In time then I'd rearrange just a day or two
Close my, close my, close my eyes
But I couldn't find a way
So I'll settle for one day to belive in you
Tell me, tell me, tell me lies
Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies
(Tell me lies, tell me, tell me lies)
Oh, no, no you can't disguise
(You can't disguise, no you can't disguise)
Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies
(Tell me lies, tell me, tell me lies)
Oh, no, no you can't disguise
(You can't disguise, no you can't disguise)
Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies

Did Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi step out of her jurisdiction by going to Syria? I have looked everywhere for information on her job duties, and have found nothing involving international affairs. This is all I found:

Position: Speaker of House

Job Description: The Speaker of the House serves as the leader of the House of Representatives. He/she may step down from the presiding role at any time to take part in debate on the House floor. This person typically announces appointments of committees. She/he will also appoint joint conference committee members from the house, as well as the chair and secretary for each committee, if needed. She/he calls roll for voting situations in which all house members are voting.

If someone knows of anything else, please feel free to send me a link to where I can find this information. Thanks.

And then advocate doing nothing and taking a vacation rather than working on keeping our troops overseas funded.

"Senate Majority Leader-Elect Harry Reid Said ... He's Doing Away With The 'Do-Nothing Congress' That Democrats Campaigned Against And Plans To Keep Senators Working Long Hours..." (Nedra Pickler, "Prepare To Work Longer Hours, Democratic Leader Reid Tells Senators," The Associated Press, 11/28/06)

"In A Powerpoint Presentation ...[Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL)] Laid Out Several Examples Of Responses Lawmakers Could Use If They Are Attacked For Going Home Without The Military Funds Being Finalized." (John Stanton and Erin P. Billings, "Recess War Of Words Set on Iraq," Roll Call, 3/29/07)

And don't blame Bush... he hasn't even seen the Bill yet so his veto threat is irrelevant at this point... He told them he would pass if they took out the time table so the ball in the Dems court, not his.

Is this just more GOP hypocracy?

"It's interesting because three of our colleagues, who are all Republicans, were in Syria yesterday and I didn't hear the White House speaking out about that," Pelosi said, referring to the meeting that Representatives Frank Wolf, Joe Pitts, and Robert Aderholt had with Syrian President Bashar Assad in Damascus on Sunday.
