The Dems campaigned on changing everything, bringing an end to irresponsible spending and ending the war (but responsibly). Now they are complaining that they cannot do anything because they do not have a veto proof majority and because of the president. Didn't they realize that they would have this problem before the election?

The Dems will say whatever is needed to get them elected. Once they get elected they will do whatever they want, with no regard for the people who elected them or the premise on which they were elected.
