I don't think this country is ready for a woman president. I don't think the world isready either. How can we as a country begin to earn the respect of middle eastern countries with a female president? Look at the way they treat their women! Yet we expect these very same people to show respect to a female president and take HER seriously? Maybe in 10-15 years we'll be ready. But not today.

I don't think being a woman should exclude her from the presidency. I think a woman's nature is to foster life and resolve conflict. Males are more prone to conquer and "wait out" conflict to see if the other side will back down first.
A qualified candidate is a qualified candidate. People need to get past superficial differences!

Yes, I think a woman can be qualified to be president. It all comes down to character of the person. Gender is irrelevant.
You sure don't sound like you believe in woman's equality.

Women by nature are more nurturing & caring of others. Would a woman be so quick to send her children off to war? I don't think so. I think a mature female leader tries harder to work things out & come to peaceful terms rather than hot-headedly jump into a fight.. Look at the female leaders of other countries.

Gender shouldn't be an issue. I don't care if a candidate is a man or woman. I'll vote for the better candidate.

There are lots of Neanderthal women wondering around. I ignore them unless they try to convert modern women.
I don't want them to be president either, only smart self-assured women need apply

Goodness, what was it like to decide to go through life using only half a brain? Was saving half for later use some sort of survival training exercise?

Why not? Just because you don't believe in yourself and are a traitor to your gender, doesn't mean a woman can't do the job. I bet she could even do it better than a man. Men's testosterone always gets in the way. They have trouble thinking with their heads.
