What is Al Gore's position on nuclear power?

This is just a question, not a political statement or a call for political statements. Can anyone give quotes and cites that would indicate whether he is for, against, or indifferent toward nuclear power?

Gore is against it, even though it seems to be the most efficient environmentally friendly means of power. If the environmentalist really wanted to end the use of fossil fuels they would support nuclear power because it is our best source of power next to fossil fuels. Solar and wind power are just not going to be feasible in the long run.

and most democrates.
