Most of the Democratic candidates ran on the anti-war platform.
Now they can't even pass a resolution to bring our troops home.
It's been almost 4 months and they have spent 10x as much time on the U.S. Attorney issue as they have on the war.
Yahoo is reporting that they can't even agree on what kind of resolution to pass.
As important as they made the war issue sound during elections you would have thought it would have been the number one priority maybe even warranting an emergency session of congress to make something happen.
Why aren't the people who elected them holding them responsible ? Doesn't it make you mad or is it that you really didn't care about the war to start with ?

Millions of people suffered loss of honor, life, family, homes, livelihood, and sense of well being, on both sides of the India-Pakistan border, in the tragic aftermath of the Partition, in 1947. Many survivors still carry the scars of their suffering. Also, for more than a half-century, the wounds of Partition have embittered relationship between the people of India and Pakistan.

Therefore, why not build a suitable monument at the Wagah-Attari Border as a memorial to the victims of the Partition violence.

Conservatives - where do you get your information about what Liberals think. I find it odd that Ann Coulther (sp?), Rush Limbaugh and Evangelical preachers are often the main sources of liberal quotes and ideas. Don't you think it would be more effective to actually talk to a liberal? Or is it easier to just adopt the ideas already existing within your own conservative policy?

I saw on the news a couple of days ago, that protesters of the war weren't respecting the troops and wanted us to fail. Small question, where the Hell did that come from?! I mean, we want out of Iraq because we DO care for the soldiers.

How did it become, either you're for the war or against the troops?

If we exclude the things that conservative republicans and leftist liberals will never agree on what do you think is the number one political issue the USA should be addressing. Do you think that the USA will ultimately benefit from the current round of divisive/partisan politics?

Doesn't it become political when Al Gore, who is neither a climatologist nor any other kind of scientist, testifies before Congress on the subject.

I think that it is a very political topic considering the fact that CONGRESS is holding hearings.

now that they have gotten rid of saddam hussain why are there troops still in iraq? this leads me to believe that the reasons for going to war is a lot more than the government lets on. i have lost a little bit of respect for the british and american government who i have always stuck up for because i am now force to believe that Britain and america is still invading other people's countries like they did years ago but are doing it in an indirect subtle and more accepting way.
