i am from east africa and its my wish to buy a house in the uk

am not after citizenship in the uk coz i live happily here and i have worked and earned my money honestly.i have a daughter who is supposed to come study there and i dont want her to pay rent.i thought the uk was liberated from racism but from some answers recieved i have reason to belive otherwise.........

You can!Even if you are an illegal. But having property in UK doesn't mean that you will get ILR or citizenship or any form of permanent residence in the UK!

If you have the money you could buy a house in the UK. But as you're not a citizen I don't think that would give you any right to come here and live in it.
You could rent it out to tenants and as property prices are rising it would be a good investment.

you could buy a house in the uk, but wouldn't get a morgage here for it so you would have to buy cash, you would not be allowed to live in it full time it would have to be a holiday home,or rented out

So that's where all the money from 'Comic Relief' goes!!!...... I live and work in Britain and I can't afford to buy my own home, Yet immigrants are not only given cheap housing but after a number of years they get to buy it at a discount.........Paid for by the tax payer.!!!..... I suggest if you have the sort of money to afford a house over here, that you stay put and use it to build a TOWN over there you'd be doing your own people a favour and will be appreciated for it>

Why would you want a house in the UK when you live in East Africa.If youve got that much money stay in your own country and buy there.

i am sure that you could but you would not be able to take out a mortgage. and if you are unable to buy a house and have the money to you could ask a friend who have citizenship to put it in there name. The is always ways to get around things in this country.
don't listen to those racist people who put there worthless answers, i don't know why they look in immigration link when they know they are not going to like the question.
