Obama, Clinton rivalry flares over donor By NEDRA PICKLER and BRENDAN RILEY, Associated Press Writers
46 minutes ago

WASHINGTON - The rival presidential campaigns of Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama (news, bio, voting record) traded accusations of nasty politics Wednesday over Hollywood donor David Geffen, who once backed Bill Clinton but now supports his wife's top rival.

The Clinton campaign demanded that Obama denounce comments made by the DreamWorks movie studio founder, who told New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd in Wednesday's edition that Sen. Clinton was ambitious and polarizing and her husband "reckless."

The Clinton camp also called on Obama to give back Geffen's $2,300 contribution.

Campaigning in Iowa, Obama refused.

"It's not clear to me why I'd be apologizing for someone else's remark," the Illinois senator said.

For her part, Sen. Clinton sidestepped questions, leaving the issue to her aides.

Okay, from how I see it: If you want to help your career or get into politics, the air force would be best. If you want to make the military your career, then marines are best. If you are adventurous, navy would be best. If you want good pay and a college education, you could join army. Which should I pick? I don't want to make the military my carrer, so probably not marines. I might enjoy traveling, so navy would be ok for awhile, but then i would get homesick...army and airforce are good too. Explain all the pros and cons, and list the benefits with your answer please!

I am a recent widow and was forced to move to a smaller place. My husband and I spent hundreds of dollars upgrading the landscaping, plus left a built in microwave. Landlord says it cost him $1800 to repaint the house (it did NOT need it), so wants to keep my $1500 deposit. He tried to use "lawyer cross examining" tactics to try to intimidate me since I am alone, but I am not easily intimidated. In the end, he agreed to return my deposit. Funny thing is, he considered me (us) the perfect tenants as we were never late with rent and took care of the house like it was our own. But for some reason, writing that check turned him into a monster...do I have any recourse if he does not send me my money?

This black woman wrote bad checks, and then almost killed someone in a fit of road rage, and they let her go free.

Im not a racist or anything, but black people have severe behavioral disorders. Ive never met one that I would entrust the keys to my house with, for instance.

I was reading a lot of your responses, and most of you are republicans. I'm not here to bash republicans (like most are doing... as well as them bashing democrats...). I was just wondering what makes you support Bush?

Please don't attack me... Its not like I'm anti-America or something, I just don't agree with his decisions over the past few years (Iraqi war, environmental awareness, etc.). I just want to see the other side... I've grown up in a democratic household, as well have been in many democratic classes (the teachers weren't, but the students were). Just curious.

This is my first speeding ticket, I was in a hurry and didn't notice the cop. She didn't write down how much would it be, as I said before, I got caught going 60 in a 40 mph zone. Is there anyway I can find out how much it will be? What's the most that it can be? Is there like a base fine where it increases depending how fast I was going over the speed limit? I'm a college student so money is tight. Also is there an extra fee to go to traffic school or is it included when you pay the fine? Do I still need to attend court even if I'm going to just pay it and go to traffic school? Any helpful advice would be great. Thanks.

So they're saying a large percentage of our Christian Americans hate their own religion?
Yet, the cons endorse their unsubstantiated rumors as often as they hear them.
