nope, it is foolishness. I'd feel safe if our troops were HERE ready to protect US not some poor broke stupid country that can't get back to stability. no amount of military presence will ever fix that place, nor will it fix idiots killing innocents.

I'm in the navy and i believe we doing the right thing. After Sept.11 everything change, we are at war, with Islamics who will stop at nothing to see America fall. And right now the enemy is within our borders known as sleeper cells. If we pull out we show them that we are weak and will bring more attacks in our own borders. The fact is we should of taken care of first was Afghanistan than deal with Iraq and thanks now our military is spread thin. China is growing in strenght while Iran builds nuclear weapons. This is a war that has no end in sight and it ain't nothing like Vietnam. The enemy is located everywhere.

Not really... Only because I'd feel safer if soldiers were at home... not out fighting wars... wars don't make me feel safe!!! Winning wars makes me feel safe... I just hope all our soldiers do will not be in vain!

Yes, actually it amazes me that people have so quickly forgotten that we were attacked by terrorist on our own soil not so long ago. It really doesn't matter what a President does or doesn't do it will always be his fault when people begin to feel safe and the problem is years behind us. Now, let us have to actually have people shooting at us in our own backyards and there will I assure you be a different sentiment.

No, actually now I feel less safe. It is kind of like a hornets nest, if you leave them be you'll be ok, throw rocks at them and make them mad and they are all going to come after you. We can't eradicate terrorist, they are everywhere (not only in the middle east). Now they are all mad at the US. You know good and well they are sitting back plotting their revenge now. All great nations eventually fall, I fear our time is coming.

yes. id rather fight them in iraq rather than fight them on u.s. soil. if we retreat from iraq where do you think al qaeda will target next? canada? yeah right. open your eyes people, we were the targets of terrorism way before 9/11
