I've often wondered that myself. Many of them spend their time tearing down their homeland, yet they remain here. Why? I say get the h*** out if you don't like it here!!!

Tell me friend, have you seen the conditions at Walter Reed hospital where our wounded soldiers are being treated? Is that the liberals fault to? Sure seems to me the government is doing everything it can to short change and abuse the wounded soldiers who fought so bravely for America. Let me guess, you're one the proud ones who has the I support our troops sticker on your vehicle right? But once they come home, all is forgotten? Come back with proof and I might debate you. Until then, take a hike.

Hey Chole, you are aware that there are just as many if not more republicans doing the exact same thing to our liberties aren't you?

Oh, your logic has *almost* answered this for you. They remain here, and thus... they must not hate the country after all!

Other indications include: Many of them devote their life to public service, and thus must not hate their country. Many of them get very passionate about the state of the nation, and thus must not hate their country. The list goes on.

I wouldn't exactly say they hate this country, but they ARE in favor of many bills in the senate that take away some liberties of Americans in the majority. And, yes, this is not a good thing however, unless we stand on the steps of capital hill and chant a protest, just as those against the war did, we will not be heard.

Just thought I'd throw that in. : L ) (Notice how my nose is slightly out of joint there.)

I'm a Conservative, but I always try to listen to what others have to say...independents as well. I can't say I always agree either...and most times I don't. But everyone does have the right to be heard. It's just too bad that what we hear is more disdain for the Conservatives than anything.

The link below is something that liberals should see, but I'm certain they won't bother to look because it came from a Conservative. It's only 15 minutes long, but if they want their way when it comes to Iraq, I think they'd better listen to this, first.

As a conservative myself, I resent this question. Liberals do not hate this country, ... they have a different point of view and have every right in our free society to express it. Do I agree with them, no, ... and I never will, ... but Americans have fought and died to allow them the right to their beliefs, ... and neither side has the right to deny that.

We stay here because just maybe we fought in Viet Nam for the freedoms you now enjoy. Maybe because you think like a communist(we must have no dissent) you are the one who should leave. A democracy thrives on different viewpoints of a subject. It seems to me that the conservatives are the ones who are un American and should leave. If it was up to conservatives we'd still be part of the British Empire.

They like the country but the most vocal of them treat the country in such a way as to make it seem like they hate it.

In reality, most people who describe themselves as liberal are much different than people like Cindy Sheehan.

We actually love our country, which is why we fight so hard for what we think is right.
Without trying to kick others out in the process.
THAT is very un-American.
We also don't much care for the Patriot Act...You know...the one that TOOK AWAY many of our rights.

If you prefer one party, with a dictator, you move to N.Korea.
We're staying here, with the intelligent conservatives &
we're going to try to fix this mess, neo-con Bush made.

Actually, I have to disagree with you on that liverals hate America. They don't hate this country because they are safe here. They can just sit back and complain about everything. If they lived in another country and said some of the thing that they say about President Bush, then they would get hunted down and shot on the spot. They stay here because this is the only place that they can just whine and complain with no ill affect on them. Here, liberals can yell, "The sky is falling!" and some people will actually fall for it.
