Politics & Government - 20 February 2007

I have asked that question many times and need it answered. I have lots of my own opinions, but I would like to hear others, from Bush haters (like me) to Bush lovers. I would like to hear everyones opinion on politics, and whatever else they think about this place. I will ask again, dude - where is my country?

An advertising company contracted with McDo to fly an advertisement above the Connecticut beaches.The advertisement offered $5,000 to any person who could swim from the Cnnecticut beaches to Long Island acroos Long Island Sound in less that a day.Mark saw the streamer and accepted the challenge.He started his marathon swim that same day at 10am.After he had been swim for 4hours and was about halfway across the sound, Mark saw another plane pulling a streamer that read,"McDo revokes."Is there a contract between Mark and McDo?If there is, what type(s) of contract is(are) formed?

Amy goes house to house stealing newspapers. She sells them on her street corner and sells them to Bob for a nickel for each. She takes her profit and despostits in the bank. She goes to carol, a fortune teller who takes five cents of every deposit for her self. over the years it added up to 1,200. She keeps it under her mattress. One day Dave is looking for a newspaper and finds carol's window open. He goes in and steals money from under the mattress. While Dave crawls out Eden sees him , and blackmails him by saying that if she deson't get 1000 from him, she would tell on him. During the night he goes over to Eden's house to drop off the money but Frank, who was hiding in the bushes sneaks out and jabs his finger behind Dave and say" I gotta gun drop the bag and leave." which leaves Dave with only 200 dollars. He then goes to Gina to borrow 1,000 since he still has to pay Eden. She agrees and gives him the money.

i was making a left turn and i stopped on a yellow light but i was behind one of those truck things that you can never see anything ahead of you...i saw the yellow and stopped but i thought that i was too far away from where i was supposed to stop..(but i wasn't apparently) .so i kept going and the light turned red- a cop stopped me and ticketed me and i have just my permit, i've had it for 2 months it's my first offense and definetly last (atleast for the time i'm on permit)
i have a 75 dollar ticket- if i pay the ticket because i know i should have stayed stopped but the thing is, if i pay it - it goes on my record...will that mean i don't get my license?
does it make sense to go to court if i know that i shouldn't have gone?...what would happen there? are they going to take it all away...i'm a good student and have no record of doing anything wrong in school or out of school...
i'm pretty freaked out

I got a speeding ticket just south of Shreveport, LA; the officer didn't put an amount to pay on it but asked me to call the court to ask. Because I'm in the military, my license and current residency addresses are in 2 different states, meaning, if they send me something I won't get it. Is there any technicality that I can get by with out paying this?

I will become the president, and start a war, and then when my TOP generals tell me, we need to pull out of the war, IM GOING TO FIRE EVERY SINGLE ONE and replace them with the ones that will do anything i say for their own career gain

then will i pass the I LOVE AMERICA ACT, where i will rip americans of their freedoms give to them by the constitution, where i will tap everyone's private life.

And if any senators go against me, I will accuse them of a unpatriotice and if any american goes against me, i will label them as terrorist and turn the country against them and make sure that person is never seen again.

Murder is just attempted murder that happened to succeed. Why not call it what it is? It's attempted murder. When you try to kill someone there's no guarantee they're actually going to die, so it's always attempted murder.
