Ok, please dont come and bash me for saying this.
I for one am very against abortion. How could any mother go to a hospital and have her baby killed? I think of this as murder. What about you?

Abortion is a terrible choice... but you can't deny a person the right to choose.

I am actually pro-choice. Although I think abortion is horrible & very sad, I believe that it is her body and no one can force her to go through the health risks of pregnany & labor.

There are lots of circumstances in which abortion is the better choice. An example would be 14-year-old girl basically forced into having sex with her 18-year-old boyfriend. She isn't ready emotionally or physically - much less deserving of - a pregnancy. It would ruin her life. Also, cases like rape & incest almost leave no choice but abortion, particulary the latter.

I never want to be at all involved with abortion, but those are still my beliefs. I would never bash anyone for theirs, though!

I am against abortion without exception. Every abortion kills an innocent human being. This is not a matter of opinion, but a simple biological fact. By the time most women know they are pregnant (3 weeks after conception), their baby's heart is already beating. For more information, see:

I personally would not ever get an abortion, regardless of the circumstances. HOWEVER, I am pro-choice. I do not feel that I have the right to JUDGE other's choices. If they want to kill their babies, that's their business and they'll face their judgment (or not). People have no right to judge other people. Nobody is perfect -- We all sin, just in different ways. Who says abortion is any worse than any other sins????

ps. All sins men and women commit are preventable or correctable (in the case of original sin).

pps. Considering one needs $13 million dollars even to campaign for the U.S. Presidency in 2008, it seems highly unlikely that an unwanted baby would find him or herself in that situation. Daddy Warbucks isn't the typical adoptive parent. POSSIBLE, but unlikely.

I am not going to bash you for your beliefs unlike yourself who makes many comments with out foundation bashing others for theirs. I only pray that you never end up in a situation where you have to choose between abortion or death, or having the baby of a rapist. What about the horrible event of incest rape, do you think that after the horror of the event that the woman should have to endure nine months of gestation to bring into the world the reminder of it.
It is very easy to stand in judgement of others.
Walk a mile in their shoes.

I don't think mothers should choose abortion. I agree with you that its like murder. Sometimes people choose it because they made a wrong choice or they got raped. Even then putting the kid up for adoption is still an option, but its all up to the mother. Its their choice.

Are people killing babies at hospitals? Good grief! Get off line and call the police.

Abortion, used simply as a tool to rid one of an inconvenient pregnancy, is (in my opinion) morally wrong.

HOWEVER - there are numerous cases where abortion is necessary.

Whatever a persons view is on abortion, it should remain a personal choice.
When government enters into this arena, it is worse than a moral wrong...it opens the door to having someone else control your every right.

I respect your view of choice, please respect my view.
I do not try to impose my moral or religious views on you...do NOT do that to me.
