Liberalism will never end. Liberalism represents progress. During the history of this nation liberals have been on the ultimate winning side of major issues – abolition of slavery, child labor laws, women voting, civil rights, women’s rights, etc. After they have strenuously opposed every major liberal idea, it normally takes conservatives decades to catch up and then they act as if they were in favor of these progressive ideas all along. Progress requires striking out into new, unknown and untested areas and liberalism keeps people thinking about how to improve their society.

Liberalism will never end. The open mindedness that is liberalism has been with this country since the overthrow of the British rule in colonial America. This country can continue to improve and become a better country. Therefore, it will take liberal minded people to make progressive changes in this country.

When being overly critical of your own country to non-supporters of the US is reigned in as being considered good common sense and not the abridgement of free speech. When our own politicians cease from calling the great country we live in a "pariah" while abroad, and without thanking the thousands of military heroes that gave their lives so that some sleazy Hollywood hypocrites can say whatever they want to say on their soapbox. Or just because they can memorize some lines and Joan Rivers asks them "who" they are wearing they think we should hold their political opinions above the rest of the population???...In a nutshell - it'll probably never end.

Liberalism will never end. Once they have total control, then you can change the name to socialism or communism which will reduce the opportunity for Conservatives to speak.

liberalism is a hipocracy...look at abortion...it caters only to those doing the evil deeds...where's that freedom to live for the unborn baby of a girl that won't say no and won't be responsible enough to atleast use a form of birth control...we dare not offend her to maybe use some self control...and the money these abortion clinics are making is a crime! but who dares to stand up and call them out...oh no...we americans would rather talk dishonorably against our god-fearing president and every single member of the silent majority...he won and it was because of good people like me...doing the best we can...so to answer your question would be quite impossible because the word liberate and liberals are not equals...they should not have the name liberals...it's not a true and correct term for what they actually represent...that's a good next step to take towards this whole next campaign for our next leader...instead of asking how liberalism is going to end...ask how these God haters will stop being called liberals and may their true characteristics be named more accurately...they hate that we're in war trying to liberate others and protect our freedom as well...they need a true name match...I bet they won't like the truth...they do not like the truth at all. "Liberals" disgrace the word liberal and that's just not fair.

All good points but, liberalism will never end. There will always be opposing sides, no matter what the issues.
