I have asked that question many times and need it answered. I have lots of my own opinions, but I would like to hear others, from Bush haters (like me) to Bush lovers. I would like to hear everyones opinion on politics, and whatever else they think about this place. I will ask again, dude - where is my country?

It's important that concerned people like you keep asking, basicly, our country was sold for the almighty dollar, not even to buy anything, just for greed, the accumulation of wealth. The people who sold it have no principles, no concern for America, no beliefs. They'll tell you they do, they'll pick out some helpless group of people and tell you it's their fault that your country is failing, the gays are to blame, the immigrants, people of different religions or cultures, don't fall for the hate and the efforts to divide people. Things go in cycles, the good ones sometimes forget that you have to be vigilant against evil, bad things have to happen before concerned Americans get involved and bring back the American Dream of helping those less fortunate than ourselves. It's a Great Question, and one that should be repeated, thanks.

Your country hasn't gone anywhere. It's still here. It's just in a transitional period.

A lot has changed in the world in 20 years, and it takes a long time for our government to stay current. We're facing issues we've never had to face, and we're still trying to figure out how to fix the old sh*t from the 70s.

If you look around you on a daily basis, you can see that the country still operates exactly as it did in the past. People still go to work, buy things they don't need, watch too much television, play with their kids, etc. We're still going about thing the same way every day.

What HAS changed, I would argue are politicians. Instead of trying to hide their unethical practices, they are practically flaunting them now. So, President Bush and former President Bill Clinton alike were both guilty of many unethical practices like Kennedy and Nixon were. It's just that we have a hyper media.

Actually, now that I think about it, I blame the media.

Sweetie pie, if you don't know where your country is, may I suggest you get off of Yahoo Answers and go hit those Geography books?

As to politics, try keeping up and not just forming an opinion around a bunch of other opinions...

If you go to WWW.GOOGLE.COM and type in MAP UNITED STATES OF AMERICA you can find out just where the U.S. is in relation to the rest of the world.
Why do you care about OUR opinion of today's politics? What will you do with our opinions? If they aren't the same as yours will you be swayed to our side?

your country is in the middle of a controversial military campaign. this has caused a lot of division in the country. it was the same for the vietnam era (maybe worse). your country is STILL the greatest in the world. please never forget that.

Go ask Michael Moore, he is every leftists good buddy and wants a peaceful world where every nut case can blow up innocent people while those who are good and merciful just stand by singing "Kumbaya"
