george bush still has supports who refuse to look objectively at what he has done to the nation. Any critical analysis of the bush administration is mocked as “terrorism” or “helping the enemy”. Is the President of the United States unable to be questioned by the people?

Why should Democrats have any say in who the Republican candidate is, or vice versa? Shouldn't the members of a party be free to decide who their candidate is, without having to convince people in other parties?

Do speed of election results really matter if they are not verifiable, accurate or reliable? Will it make a big difference if all voting is manually with a paper trail with election results being declared a month later.

I mean, there really is no excuse to endanger the lives of others. You could argue in traffic court if you had a medical emergency, provided you bring documented proof, but for most people, $1000 minimum fine will be enough to discourage running red lights and speeding.

be willing to do a dna test and have it put in a national (worldwide ) database.? What would be the preferred execution method ? and How long would you let the prisoner be on `death row` before appeals were refused ? How much proof would be required ? and would DNA be sufficient for you?

Do you think serious crimes such as rape, murder, child abuse etc would go down or would the criminal just become more cunning. Or is it a case of being hung for a sheep as a lamb ?

Playing Call of Duty with my kids has left me more overwhelmed and appalled by the horror of war than ever.

The game has interesting quotes about war, and this about Civil Wars is by Francois Fenelon. What do you think?

By the way, in looking him up, I see he also said this:

There is a set of religious, or rather moral, writings which teach that virtue is the certain road to happiness, and vice to misery in this world. A very wholesome and comfortable doctrine, and to which we have but one objection, namely, that it is not true.
