No, we'll sit around and whine about how we are 'oppressed' and that is why we can't get anywhere in life.

mbush40, I wonder what the white history month would be promoting. How our European ancestors raped, murdered enslaved and oppressed every ethnic and religious group that is not the white-caucasian, christian "norm"? Would that histroy month promote the attempts by the Europeans, who lied, cheated and stole from many countries to "civilize" the "uncivilized" (also known as "colonialism", just in case you have not read much on White history and White "culture"). Or would that history month promote the "that was then, this is now" ideology in which those of European ancestry deny all ties to their ancestors and the history that their ancestors left for them to "clean up" as some White-Americans seem to believe?
White History Month sounds really interesting to me!!! Then maybe we can find all of the "lost" documentation of the slaves that were stolen from Africa, Asia, and many other countries so maybe...just maybe others can be educated on their own history...but my guess is that White History month won't turn out the way we would like mbush40. Then the "minorities" will become too educated and TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!!!

I think we're finally getting close to the point that when that happens (whites become the minority) it won't matter as much as it used to... no South Africa here.

Money is power, and they (whites) have a stranglehold on that department. Even with strength in numbers minorities as they are now are merely pawns.

How about this: people vote, and whoever is most qualified, be they white, black, whatever, are elected as our leaders. And those leaders look out for ALL americans, not just one ethnic group?
Problem solved! That's what we try to do now.
