Sure, as long as you're employed

I'm not sure what an "employment letter" is. Most banks request pay stubs and proof of employment. They will contact the employer for any verification. Your employer will fill out a form confirming you are employed by the company. The suspension should not be mentioned; they aren't asking for a character reference, just verification that you work where you say you do.

You want to show the bank your employment letter? I don't think that the company will give you a copy without an addendum that you are no longer employed. They will most likely give you a letter saying that you were employed by them from date to date.

You know that you can't get the mortgage without the job, and you'll be committing fraud. You'd better be honest, and wait on buying the house.

Usually, the bank will verify your employment. But if for some reason they are asking you to do it, then YES you have the right to an employment verification letter.

Only if the suspension is temporary, otherwise you'd be lying to the mortgage company.
