Been rentin the house for almost 5yrs, always payin full rent in proper time. They say they wanna renovate but cant do it while we are stayin there and have given us almost 3 mnths notice but we still havent found a reasonable sized place that we can afford. Points to note... They only got a contract to buy the place a yr after we moved in and payin rent to them. Even now the house is still registered in the name of the person they were buyin the house from. 5yrs later. The original owner (the seller) was not aware of them rentin out the house. Their lawyer had a letter hand delivered to us stating that we have to be out of the house before/on 31 Jan 2007 or else they will apply for an eviction notice. However, the letter was only delivered on the 6th Feb 2007, a full week after the due date. Can any lawyers give me advice? Oh and this is in South Africa, so UK and US law willl be different, although advice from those and other countries will also be accepted, even if they dont apply.

Ms. Clinton, I feel, would cut back dramatically on jobs in the defense sector, employing millions of people. This cut back would affect all and cause a severe increase in unemployment which would cause an immediate recession if too many were discharged . Ms. Clinton is noted as being anti-military and would down-size our defenses to dangerously low levels, due to her dislike for the military. Granted, we have had losses in the Middle East. It is unavoidable in the name of defense. Ms. Clinton should take a long hard look at her situation before cuting off heads due to her disliking the military. If she terminates our defenses to sub defensive levels, Osama Bin laden could become our new Dictator/Ruler due to weakness via passive attitudes. Therefore, I oppose her attempt to become President and cause our demise due to her passive attitudes with the military.

I have heard many people say George Bush is dumb, so I want to take poll. Please answer the questions:

1. Do you think George Bush is dumb?
2. Did you graduate from Yale, Harvard, or both?

I agree that his family's money got him into both schools, because MOST people getting into those schools are dirt rich.

However, you have to be pretty smart to graduate. And if someone who graduated from Yale STILL thinks Bush is dumb, I will be more likely to agree with them.

He may not be the best speaker, but he is a smart man.

Then hundreds of reports came from firemen ,reporters and those who evacuated in time to live who experienced the secondary explosions that shook the buildings and that for republicans to accept any of this would be like admitting that God was A fabrication .
If you are liberal you posses superior intellect and powers of observation that go well beyond those of conservative indoctrinated people who just can not accept the truth . Their brain would explode an they would suffer from nervous breakdowns at alarming rates .
We have killed the messenger a thousand times and still the truth moves forward .We burned witches for what reason ? We slaughtered and hung Blacks until 1960 and beyond . Please point out one conservative plan that did not involve killing others for profit .

Don't they realize that they government doesn't care either way? The government is screwing us all regardless as to what our political affiliation is. Do you think that the government like you more because you called someone a libtard or a neocon?

that america being attacked on 9/11 has absolutely nothing to do with why we are fighting a war in iraq? i thought this was already covered and put to rest, but some people still say that we were attacked and we need to fight this war. so cant we just agree that the two events have nothing at all in common, and stop using that as evidence in your arguments?

My parents migrated here in the 1950's/60's from Jamaica.

When they came to Britain they experienced racism, along with their fellow migrants, when trying to find accommodation and work.

I was born in the 70's and grew up making friends of all races, there didn't seem to be a problem amongst us, although I knew there was an element who would rather the "immigrants" were not here.

Now the EU is being opened up wider, I am begining to notice the landscape of the British workforce changing and it seems the new wave of Caucasian migrants are being embraced a lot easier, although the contempt shown towards the migrants of colour, and their offspring, still exists in the work place.

Does anyone else see this discrepency?

Are people of colour being tarnished by the London/New York Terror attacks?

What will it take for the "White" Britain to become more accepting of people of colour or is it the racism being imported from Europe that is setting us back 50 years?

There's been a spate of conservative talking-heads wagging their pointy little fingers at every prominant Democrat they can think of, accusing them of "emboldening" someone or other.

Is this just one more mind-numbing effort to suppress dissent? Are these talking-heads trying to make Democrats responsible for the choices of America's enemies or potential enemies (If you Dems didn't 'embolden' them, they would never have done this)?

What's the rationalization behind all this tsk-tsking over "emboldening"?

I know I have asked this question before, but I really need some good advice.

On Feb 2nd, 2007 I was hit by a drunk driver.

Details:

My boyfriend and I (I was driving) was sitting at a red light waiting to make a right turn. It was around 11:30pm at night. (We were on our way home from work) While sitting at the light a lady driving a 1995 Chrysler Concord came off an access road from the main highway and hit me in the back quarter panel. (Drivers side, right where my gas tank is). There was a witness who had been following her for a few miles trying to get her plate number so he could report her to the cop, because she had been weaving in and out of the lane. He saw the whole accident. She never once hit her breaks. My car (1994 Toyota corolla) was a total loss. I did not go by ambulance to the hospital, but went on my own within an hour of the accident. Nothing major happened, a few cuts and bruises. My back is still in pain though, as well as my neck.

Israel has served as an American proxy and ally, whereby the US uses Israel’s strategic positioning to further its own designs in the region, warranted or otherwise. Israel, on the other hand, has benefited tremendously from American financial and military aid, in addition to political backing that has shielded it rather successfully from any accountability to international law.

With prominent figures such as President Jimmy Carter and Israel/Palestine expert Dr. Norman Finkelstein stepping forth to ask the US people to reconsider unbridaled support for the Occupation, will Americans listen?

If enough pressure is put on the Government, particularly Congress, the real peace process can begin which includes a Palestinian State.

Moving this forward would greatly increase the likelihood of success in Iraq and other theaters in the Middle East. Ignoring the call for thought will leave us with nothing more than violence sustained by our efforts in the Middle East.
