has the eternal title of Mr. President.....Madaam and Mr. President? Currently it is Mr. President and the First Lady. If Hilary Clinton becomes Madaam President, what would Bill's title be(if he had not been president before).?? Would Madaam be the appropriate title for Hillary?

Hillary would not be known as Madaam president, she would simply be President Clinton, and Bill would STILL be known as FORMER President Clinton.

As for what a man would be called if he hadn't already been president, and his wife was the current president, he would likely be called the First Gentleman (as stated by many political commentators).

This is a great question and one that has continuously made me play with the idea of voting for Hilary just to see what they would call the Clinton couple. Seriously though (I advise all U.S. citizens to vote responsibly and not on trivial matters) I'm sure you could get an answer to the question by finding out what they call female presidents in other countries who actually have female presidents. These countries include Ireland, Latvia, Chile, and Israel, Liberia, and the Philippines. She would probably be Madam President, taking the lead from the recent Madam Speaker, Pelosi. Personally, I think current title should preside over past title, making Bill the First Gentleman. Great question and let us know what you find!

I think if Hillary is elected, she will be referred to as "President Clinton", while Bill will be "Former President Clinton" or, informally, Clinton 42. Once elected, I have a feeling Bill will be exiled to New York -- or wherever. The last thing Hillary would want is that she's perceived as a puppet president for a third Bill term. They'll be together for ceremonial situations, but that will all be for show.

Once she's elected, he will have outlived his usefulness. I think Hillary will strive early on to establish an identity separate from him. It's not like they have a real marriage afterall.

Whipped?

Seriously, though, First Lady is considered an "unofficial" term. So with that in mind, any similar name given to the spouse of a female President would also be "unofficial"

You are correct. Bill Clinton would be Mr. President and Hilliary would be Madam President.
