The right-wing evangelicals claim they want everyone to obey the law--witness their villification of undocumented aliens. But their preacher Ted Haggard has confessed to purchasing meth--and that is a felony. So why isn't he in jail?

Or could it be that these so-called law-abiding christians only want the law enforced if the offender in't one of their own?

I want to train on handguns before going to the police academy and before I purchase a weapon, I want to make sure its an equivalent model. I've looked at 9mm and 40's. I'm conisdering the PX4 Storm.

The British did not prosecute the British Soldiers involved in the friendly fire death of Sergeant Steven Roberts, 2nd Royal Tank Regiment 24 March 2003 or the friendly fire deaths of Cpl Stephen Allbutt and Trooper David Clarke Queen's Royal Lancers, March 25, 2003.

So why the double standard ?

i think the war in iraq is completely pointless now.we first sent troops there to find weapons of mass destruction, but they weren't there. then, troops were told to capture sadum husain, and they did. now all they are doing is dying for iraq's own civil war. why don't they leave iraq? we finished the mission, and people are dying for no reason. who agrees with me?
(i'm only 14 so, my fcts might not be exactly perfect)

Sure, our president is conservative on some issues. But not too many. Primarily he LOVES controlling his own big brother government, he spends without any thought of fiscal conservatism, and he supports illegal immigrats coming into our country with legislation such as the moronic guest-worker program.

These are stereotypical liberal flaws...so what happened? Our president claims to be conservative. But actions speak louder than words.
How many of you republicans support our current ultra liberal president? I know true conservatives who have not converted to to "neo-conservatism", and they are great people.

I live in eastern PA. Now we were having the warmest winter ever and people said its global warming when anyone that turned on a tv for two minutes knew that it was bc of el nino(don't know about the spelling). But now that it has passed we are having the coldest winter in decades and those same people say it's global warming... this makes no sense. These are the same people that in the 70s were freaking out because of supposable global cooling.

In short, can someone explain to me how people can say this is all because of us and treat it like a religion like we just killed jesus again? I mean, there was an ice age we had nothing to do with, isn't it possible that this 'heat age' that is coming isn't our fault but is the natural life cycle of the earth and is a totally separate issue from our chemicals softening our ozone?

I was just in new hampshire to see my brother and all the democrats in NH and VT are still driving their SUVs. Do they not even believe their own made up religion?

I am against abortion, but I can't help feeling sorry for rape victims. I was thinking that if the rape is solved, should the Church then allow an abortion? I feel bad that the victims have to live through the pregnancy, and then either live with the child that reminds them of what happened, or give up the child in adoption.

The natural basis of a day is from sunset to sunset or sunrise to sunrise which ever you prefer.

The natural basis of a month is the time it takes the moon to go around the earth.

The natural basis for a year is the time it takes the earth to go around the sun.

The only basis for a 7 day week is that God created the earth in 6 days and rested on the 7th.

As not all religeons have the same creation model is not recognizing and using the 7 day week promoting some religeons over another and therefore a violation of church and state. Is not running our public school system on a seven day week teaching our children a creationist model.

Should the Gov't and Public schools switch to a 5 day week and eliminate Sat and Sunday after all they don't need a day of rest which is all creationist nonsense. They would go from Fri. to Mon. and have 73 weeks in the year 6 weeks to a month except for July which would have 7.

Or should we remain 1 nation under God with a 7 day week?

HOw can I break our lease? The problem is we can no longer afford the rent and need to find a cheaper place. Also, we get complaints about noise. we have 3 kids in an upstairs cheaply built apartment. Owner claims the cops have been out, but we called the police office and they said they have no record of any complaints. What can we do legally. Oh yeah, the owner is a lawyer.

Because Sheeple People who refuse to accept the fact that the Bush administration Orchestrated the Terror Attacks of 911 are just plain ignorant. It's impossible for Jet fuel or Kerosene to melt steel...LOOK AT THE PERIODIC TABLE OF ELEMENTS. Also if the floors collapsed causing a chain reaction it would have taken well over 90 seconds for the buildings to come down. They came down at free fall speed....9 seconds. There is no logical argument here. Explosives were pre-planted in the building. Case closed! Why are so many people having a hard time accepting this?

how much cover up is being made about the 47 people that worked for or with the clintons that were killed? body guards "friends" co workers shot in "drive by shootings" "suicide" "hit and runs with no followup"or just found dead. and whats up with them charging the government $10,000 a month for secret service room in the mansion to protect them? oh thats also their monthy payment on their house. Im amazed at the stupid people that think they were good what was the first thing bill singed into law?
