Sure, our president is conservative on some issues. But not too many. Primarily he LOVES controlling his own big brother government, he spends without any thought of fiscal conservatism, and he supports illegal immigrats coming into our country with legislation such as the moronic guest-worker program.

These are stereotypical liberal flaws...so what happened? Our president claims to be conservative. But actions speak louder than words.
How many of you republicans support our current ultra liberal president? I know true conservatives who have not converted to to "neo-conservatism", and they are great people.

tx girl, obviously you didn't read anything other than my question itself. Expand your mind by reading what I actually have to say, and you will find my logic to be correct.

Mark J, it doesn't even matter. I am just explaining the faults of both ideologies. I am a realist, sorry liberals. Liberals have though made the most sense for the past 6 years. Bush is just an insult to his own party.

The thing is, when democrats/liberals implement a big brother government, they show far less divisiveness.

because he's "socially conservative"... against abortion, ect.

they don't really care if he spends 100 trillion dollars a second... as long as he opposes abortion...

today's Bush supporters that cry about fiscal responsibility with democrats are huge hypocrites...

they don't care about money as long as their taxes are low... they have no clue how debt can hurt an economy, but they are the first to say others don't know anything about economics...

it's really borderline comical...

many traditional conservatives don't like Bush at all...

THE QUESTION MENTIONS THREE POINTS:

1. huge spending
2. government control over lines of communication and other "big brother" soviet-like activities
3. support of illegals
and you could even add support of free trade agreements, that many conservatives also don't like

all of these are disliked by traditional conservatives...

can any of you read?

So you are comparing George Bush to Liberals? I thought Bush and Liberals were on different sides of the ballpark. Dude, I find it hillarious that you just insulted your whole Liberal agenda.

George W. Bush is no Liberal. Where do you get that idea ? Do you only take things he says or do you look at what he does? Talk is cheap and he does a lot of talking. What he is is incompetent and corrupt.
