Steve Willis,Robert Williams,Todd McKeahan, and Conway LeBleu. What do they have in common ?

They all died on Feb 28th 1993
They were the only four ATF agents killed at Waco.
They all died of identical wounds to the left temple.
They were the only former body guards of Bill Clinton at Waco.

What are the odds of that happening?

Universal health care is obviously a controversial topic in America, and I understand both sides of the arguement, but what about a national program that did not provide complete coverage but did cover emergency situations?

A serious accident could send almost any family without health insurance into bankruptcy, so why not a plan that would cover people in those situations?

Coverage would have nothing to do with yearly income.

To prevent people from buying minimal coverage from a private company and relying on government funds for emergencies, which hurt both the government and private industry, people with any form of health insurance would not qualify.

Funding would have to come out of taxes, but it would be relatively cheap compared to a universal health program. Some would be paying for others, but its to save lives.

Obviously regular health insurance (full coverage) would be better, which means private insurance companies should not lose business.

Random idea.

Ok here is the thing, I am a freshman at college, i have always wanted to go to the air force, but my parents are dead against it. Everytime i would tell them about it, they would turn me down, thinking it was all big joke and just stage im going through. Recently i have contaced an Air Force Recruiter, and really going to go forward with it. I want to become an Air Force Physician, but my parents dont want that and wants me to become a civilian physician.

so few days ago I told my parents, and now I hear my mom is really SICK, and its all my fault, because of the news. I am very confused and don't know what to do. Either follow my dreams or listen to my parents. And if I listen to my parents, I am 100% sure i won't ever keep any ties with them, I just wouldn't be able to forgive them.

So my question is, when will we learn to let children do what they think is the best for them, and stop trying to make decisions for them?

My husband joined the Air Force reserve 2 years ago. It wasnt what we thought...we wanted more, so we requested active duty. Our request was denied. We have since then had a child and and realized that we no longer want any part of the miltary. He has told them he wants out...and they to him to write a letter giving financial reasons of why, and the request will be considered. I havent wrote the letter yet, because im not sure what to say.

Someone with experience please help....I just want to get it all over with

Why does everybody (Dems and Repubs) refer to Senator Clinton as "Hillary" instead of by her last name? Is it just to differentiate between her and her husband or is it because she is a woman and somehow doesn't "deserve" the same referencial status as a man in politics? I just find it curious that she seems to be the only senator who is referred to by first name.

Besides global warming the one thing that all liberals agree with is that the world hates America. They keep talking about improving America's *image*. Even Hillary Clinton wants to restore America's image with the world. If liberals loved America so much, wouldn't they be more concerned about improving AMERICA and let it's image take care of itself? More importantly, what does this obsession with image say about liberals?

Ok. It's like this.
You can't predict if Ichiro is going to get a hit on a certain pitch, but having looked at his stats over a period of seasons, you can predict that he's going to hit over .320 for the season, and probably over .330 for his career. Sure, he'll have some bad days and seasons, but you can predict the overall trend based on previous data spanning the seasons. He's a good hitter even if he struck out 4 times last night. The trend is established by the historical data. And not by what happened in the past few games.

So could you denial freaks please stop expecting scientists to predict "each" hurricane, each day, each month?

Hope the digressive sports reference will help you further understand trends, statistics, and data as they relate to global warming.

You should have learned all of this by the 8th grade anyway.

There's been much hoopla about the non binding resolutions Congress is working on. But what good are they? They force no action. They restrict no action. *LOL* Sound a lot like all those UN resolutions. Were they non binding as well?

My mother and I were discussing burial rights, and she said that she would like a simple funeral, with no cremation, no embalming, and no coffin - she would just like to be placed in the ground. However, we are wondering if it's even legal to be buried without a coffin. Does anyone know the law on this one?

Why do liberal Democrats fear FOX news and Rush Limbaugh?

Because the truth hurts. I always listen to both side of an issue. CNN would do anything to get you to feel sorry for our Military, on the other hand Fox will show you the proud solders in the field fighting for our safety. Its seems if you only get your information from the liberal media you don’t get the whole story. Why is it that there are more Wealthy Republicans than Democrats? Because they get ALL the information, not just the left view. Ever notice how Jesse Jackson blames everyone else for blacks; well your Democrat leaders do the same. Get the whole story watch FOX and Limbaugh and think for yourself.

It seems to me that Scotland is largely overlooked. When people think of the UK or Britain they usually think of just England and Wales. Scotland has a rich and independent history, customs and languages (including scots and gaelic). Do you think it would benefit from being it's own independent country?
