Other than the fact that he has greatly destroyed Britain, no.

There is nothing exceptional about Britain. The people are fine but not superior to those of any other nation.

As for the question of Tony Blair, are you serious? He has continued economic policies very similar to those the Tories would be pursuing thereby making the poor poorer and the rich richer. The UK has now joined the USA as one of the most hated countries on earth.

So no, Tony Blair has proven a massive disappointment, especially for anyone who, like me hoped a Labour goverment would bring in some socialist policies.

Great Britain... Those were the days! Tony Blair has made Britain a nation of over taxed, over watched, under paid people. Immigration has gone through the roof, crime is violent and out of control. There is a shortage of affordable homes and we run out of water after a couple of days of sunshine. The British army is busy overseas fighting a war that Britain was indirectly involved in at first and Blair has had his collar felt by the Police. The Government are too busy greasing their palms up for 2012 and ............. Blair is not great and sadly neither is his nation any more

Tony Blair is a skinny type who has entertained media idols at No 10, in order to claim some affinity with the working class ( more correctly, the proletariat - look it up on Wikipedia). He is therefore a total fraud. Kier Hardy, Anuerin Bevan and even Harold Wilson must be revolving in their graves or urns when they realise that such a charlatan is running a government that claims to be "Labour".

He has not yet espoused Jade Goody as Heir to the Throne, but, in his eyes, anyone who makes a noise that will penetrate the covered ears of the hoodie generation is infinitely preferable than Prince Charles, who might offend our Burger Kong Nation by indulging in a little Gentlemans Relish, with his toast in the morning.

Tony Blair is simply Margaret Thatcher writ small. I fought Thatchers policies tooth and nail when she was PM, but I do respect that she set her policies out in plain language - no spin, no bull. Wysiwyg.(What You See Is What You Get).

If you think that Great Britain is a nation that is full of half-truths, that accepts the existence of an intelligentia who write piffle and hype in red-top 'newspapers', whose saturday night visual entertainment consists of programmes that attempt to elevate the talentless to a higher degree of mediocrity, then Blair represents the UK admirably. All I can say is, if the Welsh declare independence, can I seek political asylum therein.

Great Britain is an island. As it is the largest island in the British Isles, it's called "Great". Most people do not know this. Do you think we call ourselves "Great" because we think we're spiffing marvellous?

Tony Blair may not be popular within the UK, but he is around the world, just like the fact the UK is one of the world's more popular countries. Who are his competition after all? George MonkeyMan Bush, a French President who would be in jail if he weren't immune from prosecution whilst in office, a torn-faced German, a quiet Japanese PM, a quiet Pope, etc etc.

He's good at diplomacy and international chit-chat....so is Britain....

He's well-read, thinks fast and speaks slowly, witty.....like most of Britain's better inhabitants.

No he's the embodiment of how middle class greed, American ar.se-kissing and a disgusting "I'm all Right Jack" attitude has turned this country into a cesspool which people can't wait to get out of. Shame as I love the UK.

Before the corruption scandal yes. I would say Prince Willaim and Harry who are serving in the military when they have so many other things they could do are the epitomy of being Great in Britain.
